The printer has just arrived so its probably a bit early to be doing this. I am a complete novice but even I managed to set it up and produced GREAT prints from my Cannon S 50. The only thing is I, and Im sure others, want also to print from the computer so that I can fiddle with the images. The book says connect using a commercially available USB cable! Why not include it? Why doesnt Amazon include it with their optional extras. Great printer, unfriendly exclusion. I dont even know where to get one.

Prints come out perfect as long as you use the proper camera with it. Ihave the power shot a40 with 4 meg pix and itsgreat

I purchased the canon ixus 400 camera a while ago, and was lucky enough to have the canon CP-300 photo printer for christmas. i must admit i was sceptical, ive seen it on the tv ads and thought it cant possibly be that simple - but it is!! its amazing quality, its small, compact, reasonably priced, paper & ink isnt too expensive either. id definately recommend it to anyone!!
