I had this player bought for me as a present. While it is pretty good for the money, its not clear how the multiregion aspect of the player works, in fact Ive only been able to get it working as a region 2 player. So beware, a good player overall but you may have difficulty playing those region 1 DVDs

Cheap and PLENTY of features, compact, stylish. Was over the moon at the quality for the price. Had it 4 months and it has delevoped a problem with playback (bad data transfer causing skipping and erratic pixilation), fails to switch on/off from remote etc etc. Shame, maybe I just got a bad one?

I bought one from TESCO for £29.97!! I am utterly impressed with the
superb picture quality, outstanding sound quality and shear number of
features. It plays: DVD, CD, MPEG, Kodak Photo CD, JPEG images etc.
Absolute bargain - the best purchase I have made in
years!
