I bought this dvd because i wanted multi region. I am extremely please with it. Its a no fuss no nonsense easy to use and i rate it.

Really easy to use DVD player. Just remove from box , plug in and play. I was looking for a DVD player that plays any kind of disc and this one does that superbly. Not too expensive either. I shopped around and even tried another brand which claimed to be multi region but could not get it to work. Then i noticed this one on amazon and ordered it even though i was a little wary as i had never heard of the brand ( i thought Swedes make Volvos....not electronics ! ).It playes every disc i have no problem including ones bought in America and Australia. I f you are looking for a player that does what it claims...look no further.

If you are somebody who is a freebie like me who downloads movies from the internet and then copies it on a dvd and then want to watch it on a dvd player, then this dvd player will do it...dont surf anymore...just buy this dvd player.

When I put a US region dvd of a TV series in this machine (BBK DV991)it didnt work as the other reviewers had led me to expect. On screen I got two copies of the show appearing side by side and the colour looked a bit strange as well. Can anyone explain what has gone wrong?

I have bought a couple of cheaper DVD players from other sources over the last few years and have found them to have problems fairly quickly. I am suitably impressed with the BBK DV991 DVD player which I purchased at the beginning of 2009. It is slimline with a smooth finish, easy to use remote and plays all multi-region DVDs without any problems. The picture quality is far superior to most other players I have used. The display is easily read from a distance even in bright lights, I am thinking of replacing my main player in the sitting room with this model. I would definiately recommend this product to you all.

We had been looking for a multi regio DVD player where you didnt have to mess around with codes etc.
Saw this one and looked at other reviews and thought we would give it a try. Very glad we did. You might be able to get cheaper but this is good looking and does what it says it does.

I am no tech expert I have loads of DVDs from the states and I had a great player I just put it in and it played after 10 years it pacxked in.
I needed a new one and the only place I could see any was Amazon.I saw several well known ones but reading the details they were adaptable.That
put me off I cannot do with entering codes i wanted something that just played. This one is ideal for my needs.Even an Idiot like me can use it without taxing my meagre brain.This player meets my needs Its great.It
really does play all regions without fuss.I am so glad i found it and the price was so reasonable too.

This player is supplied from Sweden but dont be put off. I had bought a very cheap player for £20 on Amazon before which went kaput and decided to spend a few more on a better quality player. It not only plays all my USA DVDs, but those imported from other countries and other downloaded formats from the internet. The image quality is superb and no pixellating or scene jumps that I used to get with the old player. Good value for money.
