Search the City engrossed my 5 yr old and 6 yr old daughters when they received it and the spell continued when my nieces (8 and 5) got hold of it. The age range of 8-11 is misleading as my children (who are good readers) didnt have any trouble with the games. The money being in cents and dollars didnt bother them at all-they are used to different currencies anyway and just accepted this was American. Some of the different words threw them though, like the `walking cane`, but they adapted to that very quickly. I keep finding them returning to this LeapBook much more frequently than the others, so Id say it was money well spent.
