The first My Laptop I bought was faulty - only half of the keys worked, so I returned it and was given another. The second one worked initially and my 2.5 year old son had fun playing with it. Theres quite a lot of different educational games so it kept my son interested for some time. When he was about 3.5 yrs old he started using the workbook and had renewed interest in the toy, then it stopped working properly. Everything worked except the selecter button on the mouse, which he found very frustrating. I nearly threw it away but my 1 year old daughter was really enjoying the woof woof sounds it makes when you turn it on. Recently I decided to open it up and see if it was obvious what was wrong and there was a loose wire inside attached at one end to the mouse - it clearly had not been soldered in properly originally. So my husband got his soldering iron out and it is working properly again. So now both my children (now 5 yrs & 2.5 yrs) are enjoying playing with it again - so it does have lasting play value.
