Spongebob has an appeal that transcends generations blah blah blah blah
No it doesnt. Im just a big kid.
However, my daughter, who is most definately of the little kid persuasion, loves Spongebob and adores this game. And surprise, surprise it is educational too. Her favourite game in this collection is the prize grabber. She has to do basic arithmatic first, then gets a chance to grab some treasure. This particular game is also good because it teaches her how to LISTEN. The first few times she played it she kept getting stuck. It was only when she paid more attention to what the narrator was saying that she worked out how to convert a 5p to 5 pennies.
There are other games too, which cover the early learning essentials in a fun manner. Spongebob really does make a good learning aid.
Final point, as with all the leapfrog titles, parents will benefit most if they connect them online via a PC, and utilise the extra software for parents the products ship with. So dont be lazy and do your side of the bargain...
