I bought this cooker in May this year and within 10 days I had to have it replaced as the mother board blew! I have since had to have the engineer out twice for other major faults! He is coming out again this week as it blew the fuses in all the downstairs on Christmas Eve!!!!! Hate this cooker and expect the engineer to take it with him when he calls. Considering the money paid, this is a very poorly made cooker and though I had a cannon before, I am now very disappointed and I do not trust this cooker at all. Buyers definately beware!
Reviewed by: Anon Rating: Date Reviewed: 28Dec2011 | | | I purchased this cooker just under a year ago. On arrival the main oven control was broken. An engineer fixed the problem nearly two weeks later. Now, just within the one year guarantee the main oven control has gone again. The engineer came and discovered that a cicuit board behind the control had come away and broken. Nearly three weeks without the main oven! The engineer has been very good. Customer service has been ok. Build quality of this cooker though would appear to be quite poor.
Reviewed by: Jay Atkins Rating: Date Reviewed: 10Jun2010 | | | I used this product for 4 weeks until a kitchen fitter laying tiles received a shock when he touched the foot of the cooker. He discovered that 120 volts of electricity were running through the casing of the machine! I then contacted an Indesit engineer who told me that the machine was dangerous and not to be used until a new part was fitted 7 days later. I contacted Cannon who took the information and told me that I would receive a return call before 5pm that day. When I received no call I contacted Cannon again and they confirmed that I would be without a cooker for 7 days - buyer beware!
