I have had several regular stratocasters in my life and and always ended
up shaving the neck and rewiring the tone knobs and what not. But the
yellow affinity I bought for 180.00 was the best out of five right off the
wall and is the best by far sounding strat I have ever owned, period. Yes
there are junk ones but mine totally kicks ass. As far as this guitar
being for first timers is bullshit. I have played for forty years and I
know my stuff and its all in the hands people.

to play with, and then you can choose,` do I want rock, or jazz` for
example, and then you go with rock, and then you get like a les paul or
somethin. if you choose jazz, a jackson, or metal, a mockingbird. its a
great starting piont for begginers to branch off of.
