This is great for exercising the memory.
Can be frustrating as the game progresses and becomes more difficult, but this only serves to make it both more of a challenge, and also is a key to improving your mental ability.
I purchased this unwittingly, as I already had the large table-top version of Optix, but did not immediately connect the two, and so thought I was buying a different game completely, however, this is a pocket-sized handheld version which really is very handy. The only criticism I would have is the poor instructions. It took me ten minutes to find how the On/Off switch worked! Although the button is obvious, it looks like a button youre to press, but in fact you have to slide it along, but the instructions do not tell you this, and so if one was to force too hard for too long in pressing, (as I nearly did!) then one could possibly break it... The instructions also fail to tell you which way up to use the stylus (not that it matters that much but it would be nice to be told!) and so there is a lot of guess work needed here to compensate for poor instructions. This aside, its a great fun pocket game!
