Reviewed by: Amazon Reviewer Rating: Date Reviewed: 27Mar2009 | | | I bought this expansion pack as my girlfriend and I had near enough mastered the standard Scene It? edition and were in search of a new challenge.
We found it in this brilliant little kit. Filled with all new cards and lots more DVD fun we were impressed and enjoyed it immensely. Though sadly we have started to master it again although, I have noticed a movie Scene It? 2nd edition, which I think we will definitely buy.
All in all, 5/5.
Reviewed by: Amazon Reviewer Rating: Date Reviewed: 01Jun2008 | | | This is an add-on pack to any of the Scene It? DVD board games. Although it can be played by itself, I really do recommend using it in conjunction with the existing Scene It? games.
You get a whole heap of new My Play clips and questions, and some familiar favourites in All Play, as well as some new ones (e.g. can you guess the film from a selection of its credits?).
You also get some more question cards, which use the Take 3, Songs and slogans and Pop culture categories as per the regular Scene It? board game (the categories were different in other Scene It? such as the 007 one). There is a new category die with different icons compared to the one supplied with the original board game, but the colours are the same, so it shouldnt be too much of a problem, but it can be confusing to start with.
One thing that worried me about the copy of Scene It? Sequel Pack is that the DVD didnt seem to clip onto the spindle when I packed the game away and fell off very easily. Whether that is simply a fault with my one or a general fault is unclear, but it was a pain to have to fold the box carefully to hold the DVD securely to prevent it from coming loose.
Other than that, if you own a Scene It? board game and want to expand it, then this is an essential purchase.
Rated 12 by the BBFC due to moderate violence and sex references in some of the movie clips.
