I have a few of these around the house and although they are great they do
not sell spare shades. I had written to Argos to see if they could get
spares from the manufacturer but they were useless and all they could tell
me was that the manufacturer was is Asia and they couldn`t contact them
and so cannot help any further!

I had two of these lamps, the first dimmer blew within the year, I took it
be
back to argos for a replacement, the second blew after the year I took to
local electrical light shop and then fitted a part where now you have to
turn off at the plug so okay now broken a shade, so the lady who would
like to sell, would be prepared to purchase

I have the same problem, knocked the lamp over broke all the shades. I
purchased the lamp at Argos contacted them about replacement shades, all
they say is the sullpiers are from overseas and they cannot supply there
details.

I would gladly buy second hand shades for this lamp even if I can only buy
1 or 2. If any one has any for sale please email me at
tisonlyagame@yahoo.co.uk. For those who haven`t bought it yet get it from
Argos and buy the product cover for #7.99 then you won`t have this
problem.

I have this light and for some reason it has just stopped working...my
husband has tried to repair it to no avail, as I have not got my argos
receipt for it. I am willing to sell my 6 perfect shades from this lamp to
anyone who is interested as I have only had it a matter of months. I would
be able to list them on ebay if anyone
ineterested.

I`ve just got this lamp for xmas and my little boy has just knocked it
over and broke all the shades. I thought it would be easy to find
replacements but just from reading all your reviews Now know it wont
be.

I have had no problems with the dimmer but the shades are extremely
fragile and I have already had three broken by my young grandson. If
anyone knows where to buy spares I would be very
grateful.

I have had the same problems as above. Whilst the lamp is very attractive
I have been unable to find replacement shades after breaking them when my
dog wobbled the lamp and also my sons hit a football at it! Argos, where I
bought the lamp from, told me it is made by a Dutch firm and that Homebase
has similar shades. Yet again I was unable to source these at Homebase. I
had a problem with the dimmer unit overheating and got an electrician
friend to by-pass the dimmer.

We purchased this lamp and all was going well until my husband broke one

I have purchased this product and have found it to be faulty as the
dimmer switch gets very hot and has in fact now blown so I have no
lighting at all also I have searched the internet to find you can`t even
get a replacement dimmer for this product. Not very good in my
opinion
