| Kenwood | FP730 Multi Pro | Dont get bogged down by all the attachments! Fantastic value for money. Robust. No need for seperate juicer, mixer, blender and grater - this does it all. Excellent. Waited about 3 weeks for Amazon to get this back in stock but well worth the wait and the cheap price! | | Amazon Reviewer | 18/01/2009 01:01:01 |

| Magimix | Cuisine Systeme 3200 White. | This is a really wonderful gadget. It blends and chops and processes food very well and comes with a very nice box that you can put all the attachments in so everything is kept neat, tidy and to hand. It is so quiet that you can hardly hear it and theres no messing about with variable speed - the machine automatically senses what power needs to be used and does it all. Its also extremely easy to clean - no wonder it is a Which? best buy. I got mine for £137 on Amazon and it arrived next day with my trusty Prime membership!!! | | Amazon Reviewer | 05/01/2009 01:01:01 |

| Magimix | 5200 White | When setting up home twenty years ago I was advised to get a Magimix and, not having enough money, settled for a cheaper brand. Having regretted that decision ever since and being very pleased when the old one finally expired, there was a huge amount of expectation and anticipation for this machine to live up to. I have to say Im delighted with it so far. Sturdy construction, powerful motor and well worth every penny.

| Kenwood | OWFP950001 | Kenwood Multi-Pro Libra FP950 Food Processor
I chose Kenwood because I have previously had a Kenwood food processor, which lasted at least 25 years and a food mixer that is still going strong after 30 years. This model FP 950 multipro Libra is also recommended by Good Housekeeping.
There are lots of attachments with this model and it seems to do everything. If you do not need all the functions, one of the simpler models would suffice, but if you enjoy doing lots of cooking - this machine is ideal. You will need somewhere to store all the attachments, but the processor itself looks very stylish and I am happy to keep it out on the worktop.
The weighing scales are handy as you can zero it and add further ingredients to the bowl or you can put the weigh plate on and just use the scales.
The rasping disc grates Parmesan really well; I have squeezed oranges, juiced apples, chopped nuts and grated vegetables. There are two sizes of feeder tube, so you can feed one carrot down the smaller tube and it doesnt fall to the side. The mini processor bowl is also useful for smaller quantities. I havent tried the dough hook or the twin beater geared whisk yet, but I have only had it a few days. The mill and the liquidiser are both thick glass and together with the metal base of the machine, it appears to be a sturdy machine that is built to last.
Amazon delivered the food processor so quickly, even though it was ordered close to Christmas - very good service and good value.

| Kenwood | FP735 | Bought this as a present for family, and I have to say they love it. Quite big, and comes with lots of attachments, but its excellent. | | Amazon Reviewer | 19/12/2008 01:01:01 |

| KENWOOD | FP920 | I am a 64 year old male who had never made a cake, scone or biscuit in his life. I bought a Kenwood 920 food processor because the one that my wife was currently using was getting past its best. Since taking delivery of our Kenwood I have made scones, biscuits and cakes amongst other things without any problem despite others telling me how difficult it was to make a cake successfully. Them tasks which can be undertaken with this machine and its gadgets are phenominal and ive only used half of them, and unfortunately my wife cannot get a look in. I am not a great user of kitchen electrical components as their uses are greatly over exagerated and time consuming, but this machine is somewhat different. Got to go now my christmas cake need taking out of the oven. | | Amazon Reviewer | 15/12/2008 01:01:01 |

| KENWOOD | FP580 | Bought an earlier version of this.. Weve been using it for about 3 years, for dough making, chopping vegis, blending, liquidising and powdering.. Works fantastic for the price and its already lasted 3 years without giving us any problems.. Definitely recommend | | Amazon Reviewer | 11/12/2008 01:01:01 |

| Magimix | 4200 white | Cant fault it... had it 6 months and use it often. Mainly use it for grating, chopping veg/salads and making smoothies and between this and my Kenwood Chef most kitchen tasks are covered.

|
| Kenwood | HB150 WHITE | Ive had this Kenwood for a year or so and use it regularly for those little blending jobs, including: making soup (blending some of the chunky bits of veg in the pan), mixing ingredients for backing, making smoothies, even frothing up eggs for a fluffy omelette (I tried mashing potatoes but that was a bit too much for it). It is robust, neat and small enough to hang on the hook provided, on the rail alongside our other implements (serving spoons, etc.). | | Amazon Reviewer | 21/11/2008 01:01:01 |

| Magimix | 5200 | I bought this product as a replacement for a Kenwood which had broken. Cooking is my hobby, my favourite way of relaxing. I had noticed that most TV chefs use this brand and thought hey! if its good enough for Delia.....Ha ha!!
I was definitely not disappointed. It does everything it says it will, the design is excellent.
Most people have a food processor that they have had in a cupboard and hardly use. I believe this is because it is so fiddly, after scrambling around finding the attachments, trying to remember what goes where and then putting it together, its usually easier to do things the old fashined way. This one certainly has the edge. It is quiet, compact, the different functions are so easy to use with very little messing around. Its a joy to use and easy to clean.
It is a little more expensive than the usual domestic food processors but this is more than reflected in the quality and ease of use. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending this item to any half way interested cook. | | Amazon Reviewer | 11/11/2008 01:01:01 |

| Breville | SHM2 | Had this mixer for a few months and agree with Gorrin. Does what it needs to brilliantly, and I cook and bake an awful lot. The fact it can become a hand whisk is a bonus. | | Amazon Reviewer | 08/11/2008 01:01:01 |

|
| MORPHY RICHARDS | 48780 | Brilliant idea to have three separate compartments that can have different start times and the same end time. Dishwasher same but does use up a large amount o space, same with storing it when not in use as its not stack able. | | Jason | 22/07/2009 18:17:55 |

|
| KENWOOD | FP580 | I found this processor to be not as durable as normal Kenwood products. The bowl and liquidiser handles very light plastic and handle came away from bowl when locking into position. Slicer/Shredder blades do not fit whole width of bowl and therefore whole food tends to escape into the bowl. | | Wendy | 27/01/2003 19:09:29 |

| Unbranded | Rachel Allen Stand Mixer | Bought this mixer 3 weeks ago. Never thought to test it just assumed like any mixer I have ever bought that it would be fine. Tried it for the first time tonight. It`s not working. Burning smell from motor. What more can I say? Rubbish!! | | Sandra, Dublin | 22/07/2009 18:10:08 |

|
| Cookworks | Food Slicer | I am on the second Cookworks slicer bought in Argos and both only sliced four times before smoke started pouring out and the machines ground to a halt. Needless to say none of the stores in my vicinity have any in stock. The fault is obviously well known. | | ron | 11/04/2009 08:50:09 |

|
| KENWOOD | FP580 | Worst product ever bought very flimsy, within about 2 months the wisk attachment broke, The machine smells like its burning every time its used. Which I now know to be plastic melting on the attachments cause by rubbing on the spindle. The handle has come away from the bowl and is very difficult to put in the lock position. Very disappointed as I always thought Kenwood was a good brand, wouldn`t recommend to anyone. | | Rachel | 30/12/2008 10:57:50 |

| Cookworks | Food Slicer | Took it out of the box sliced six slices of ham then smoke started pouring out of the motor all he cogs inside the slicer melted and ground to a halt what a waste of money You cant pay a little and get alot ! | | tim | 27/08/2008 17:45:24 |

|
| Cookworks | Food Slicer | Not worth buying- thickness adjuster too flexible. Apart from the slicing blade-no parts can be detached to clean-therefore- not hygenic | | sh3gard | 30/05/2008 12:23:33 |

| ROWENTA | Universo Food Processor | We have had a Rowenta KA-900 Universo food processor for a few years, having bought it in Italy for good looks and the fact Italians don`t have crap cookery gadgets. Since then we started our own delicatessen making homemade food and the Rowenta has served us well although we have burned out two motors grating parmesan in industrial quantities. Despite that the blades have remained sharp and nothing has fallen off. For the money, you can`t beat it in a domestic setting and the blades are as sharp as a #700 Robot Coupe and the tools stash away neatly underneath. Bonus is the juicer attachment which is moronically simple and does a better job than a dedicated juicer costing twice the price. Good design. Would like a more powerful motor and handle would be better if could be detached from bowl in dishwasher (no cracks from dishwasher by the way - another plus) | | Alex Chambers, Squisito Deli UK | 16/10/2008 11:24:11 |

| Cuisinart | MP14NU | I bought this food processor two months ago and it is of outstanding quality. I have previously owned a magimix processor and, in my opinion this is of superior quality. It is very easy to use and has a fantastic 20 year guarantee. This says to me that cuisinart feel assured about their workmanship. | | Miss Smith | 23/07/2007 18:24:57 |

| KENWOOD | FP180 | I have a small kitchen, so didn`t want anything large. It seems to do all I expected of it. The main unit cuts up my nuts for my muesli in the morning just fine and the liquidiser does all I expect of it. The shredder even shredded parmisan cheese perfectly well. The slicer does vegetables fine too. | | JPM | 03/05/2006 08:42:07 |

| BOSCH | MCM5081GB White | I haven't used this product yet, just opened it up. It looks great, but be warned - it does not have a whisk attachment!! Some of the internet descriptions say that it does, but they are incorrect. You can order a whisk as an extra but it adds appx £13 to the price. A whisk seems a strange thing to leave out of a food processor. | | What no Whisk? | 16/11/2003 12:45:45 |

| Gary Rhodes | Pro Style | I own this product. Little used but everything except blade is plastic and just cracks and disintigrates with use, spares - where do we get them from? Best place for it is bin!! Dont waste your money | | angela | 24/06/2008 14:36:41 |

| Bush | FP023 Silver | Awful product, real bargepole job. Very tricky to lock top in place and then hard to undo. Judders around sounding as if it is grinding its own parts. Lots of cheese gets stuck to grating blade and lid ledges, difficult to remove and wasteful. Stupid multipart grating and slicing system.Locking lid tab broke off one month after guarantee expired, which made me happy because I could justfy binning it and buying another. | | Cheryl | 30/05/2008 12:28:37 |
