This item simply put will not last and it it is not that great at chopping things which is what I wanted. It kind of chops them too fine. In my view it is not fit for purpose. The lid is fiddly and does not lock properly if at all, no locking = no chopping = no blending. Maybe it would suit the occasional user, but whats the point in that? I gave it two stars because a) it is a Kenwood and does appear to have a good build b) Im generous.

I have a small kitchen, so didn`t want anything large. It seems to do all
I expected of it. The main unit cuts up my nuts for my muesli in the
morning just fine and the liquidiser does all I expect of it. The shredder
even shredded parmisan cheese perfectly well. The slicer does vegetables
fine too.
