I am not a big fan of the gameboy as most games have no replayibility once you finish. I prefer racing games on them because the outcome is normally different. However, when I walked into GAME one day with £30 burning a hole in my pocket my eyes rested on LORD OF THE RINGS: RETURN OF THE KING. And, boy, was that a good buy. You play as all of the fellowship and a few secret characters. the game has bosses, which, have special powers. You play through 100s of levels, collecting and upgrading weapon (pros, the hard heros are: Legolas, Gandalf and Eowyn) The best bit is that you can upgrade attributes by collecting points by killing enemies. + when you kill enough enemies you go up a `level` which gives you a point to spend on special powers. There are also secret levels, which you unlock as you play the game. Upon selecting a secret level you chooose a difficulty (normal, hard or grueling, normals easiest!) and you load one of your saved games so when you start you have all of your equipment. When playing these levels if you hapen to complete it you can save your game to keep equipment, jewels points etc. If you complete the game you can save it and start again with everything you collected last time! There is so much to do in this game! A MUST BUY! DO IT NOW OR YOUR GAMEBOY WILL RUN OFF! READ MY LIPS! BEST GAME ON GAMEBOY EVER!

It has great graphics and its not like on of those easy games which you complete in a day. It features some of the sound tracks from the film.
enoug about what i liked about, here are two things you can do with two types of cables:
1.link cable-Connect up to a friends gba/sp and trade items fight enemys with each other
2.gba to gc cable-unlock characters and play on the gamecube (only if you have the gc version of tis game)
