Tiger Woods Golf 2004 is about the best golf game out for handheld gamersto get a hold of. It uses an advanced graphics engine allowing gamers toplay on five 3D golf courses - three real and two fantasy. There is a wideselection of clubs and once you get the hang of the controls you are ableto move slickly through each menu. You can compete in many tournaments incareer mode, winning money on your way to buy you much needed points, which you can add on to your attributes, making you a better player. Onething I was very impressed about was when you pot the ball into the cupthe camera moves up to a 3D close up view as the ball roles towards thehole. There are a good selection of players to choose from including TigerWoods and John Daly. The screen is very informitave whilst playing aseverything from wind direction to the lie of the ball is included. Theonly thing that I would change was the fact that unlike other handheldgolf games such as `Mario Golf` for the GBC, there is no power meter tocontrol how far your shot goes. Instead to add power, you tap the L buttonfor as long or as short as you want whilst you make your backswing whichyou make by pressing the down button. In conclusion, Tiger Woods PGATour 2004 is a very capable golf game which will be hard for anyone tobeat. Graphics - 4/5 - A bit blocky in places but the graphics engine allowshills and cliffs to be created with ease. Audio - 2/5 - There is not a lot of sound to test the GBA a part from theodd bird cheeping and the satasfying sound of the ball hitting the bottomof the hole. Gameplay - 4/5 - About as good as a golf game on the GBA can get. Lasting Appeal 5/5 - This game will last forever. Overall - 4/5
