The instructions could be clearer as could the on screen indication of slope of the greens, but once you get used to whats happening the game is good fun. The wind does blow the ball off course and bunkers do occasionally scuff your shot. I feel that the putting element could be improved by not initially pointing you in the direction of the hole; but beware those green slopes! And fear not, contrary to an earlier reviewers statement, it IS possible to get a hole in one! (I got one!)

Quality game. Ideal for the tube/rail commuter. First Round was level par. Great graphics and easy to pick up and play. Great enjoyment especially when eagle the first hole you play

The GBA is one superb console with some top games. Unfortunatly some of the games with have been released are nothing more than trial and errors, (or at least they should be.)ESPN final round golf was released in Japan as one of the release day games. Unfortunatly, this game is really poor. It may be well represented, but the game it self is slow, to simplistic and the graphics judder when you take your shot. This game is only for true golf fans only.
