This needs to be in everyones collection and if you only buy one GBA game for your DS (incase you didnt know you can play this on your DS) you need to get this one. Although I liked Yoshis island DS, this was by far the most superior game. You wouldnt think it would be as you cant use different babies, only Mario. But this element of the game made the DS version uneccesarily hard, having to back track loads. I found it impossible to fully complete and I am a very seasoned gameplayer. Just because this game is easier, doesnt make it worse, its still a struggle but its not so frustrating you want to smash it up (some people may find this a virtue in games, but I dont). The world the characters inhabit is beautiful and a real joy to behold. Everything is just sooooo cute! Just get it!

This is the game Ive played most since buying a DS a few months ago. I know its a GBA game, but it is better - I suspect - than many games on the DS. It is certainly better than most of the DS games Ive played so far. Though, in part that may be because I prefer the 2D perspective.
I never realised what I was missing when I just had the GBA and somehow missed this game. But as I never got around to buying the SP version with its backlight it is probably a good thing for my eyesight that I have waited until now to discover this gem.
Do yourself a favour - buy this game. Its brilliant!

Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshis Island / Egg throwing Mania;
The Third game in the sequel and another remake of a classic. It is based upon that Mario and Luigi are being carried along the ocean and a witch has foreseen the future and knows they will be dangerous so she goes out to capture them for her master Bowser. As she goes along Kamek the witch startles the stork and it drops one baby, Mario. It goes down and down. While Luigi is captured and whisked off Mario falls down into the endless Islands beneath him.
Mario happens to fall right on to Yoshis Island right on to a Green Yoshis back. The stork was taking to the brothers parents. So the Green Yoshi startled takes the baby to a meeting of multi coloured Yoshis and have a meeting of what to do. Baby Mario had a map and happened to know where to go so the Yoshis go on the journey to take Mario back to his Parents going over Dangerous Islands over the way.
Kamek has sent spies out to search so you have to be carefull. You start with a tutorial level and then onto normal levels. The Levels are cool colourfull and pencil/ crayon drawn for a cool effect. The Music is bouncy and uppy. But Marios incessant screaming really puts you off Kids loll. In each level you collect Five Flowers and 20 red coins also you have to collect stars which increases your chances of Kamek getting you. Basically if you hit an enemy Mario slides off your back into a bubble and starts crying you then have s star timer, once it gets to 0 Mario is found and taken Briskly away by air.
At the end of three levels you face a boss, which you have to kill to get to the next level. When you completely get 100 points on each world an EXTRA level is unlocked to do for more points. And when you complete the game another level appears in yellow on each world again. I dont know what happens when you get 1000 points on all levels as I have not cracked this one yet but I have 5 stars so far of 6 and three levels to get 100 on Im very excited at the prospect! I love this game its really good it will take you ages. There is Replay value as you will want to hear that Music again and see those colourfull worlds again.
