You may remember going into the amusements and wasting all your money on Sega Rally or some other arcade game like it. Well, by buying this game, you are also wasting your money.
Its too much like an arcade game. Everything is timed, even selecting the truck. However, the 2 player races are good, thats if you can find anyone else interested in that type of game.
Also, EVERY other driving game X is to drive forward. For the first 30 mins after I started playing the game, I couldnt work out why every time I pressed X, it said shift down. Dont get the game, try Big Mutha Truckers instead!

Its astonishing to think that this comes from the same team as Crazy Taxi, and smacks of a quick port of an old Dreamcast title in the hope of making a few quid before anyone realises just how bad it is.
The sound is dire, the collisions weak ,and the gameplay dire - indeed several times on my earlier attempts at the game, my truck slowed down under slipstream!!
Whatever you do, even if you are a huge fan of the arcade version, do not waste your money on 18 Wheeler - its given a fair run for its money by Out Run on the Sega Master system (and yes, some of the backgrounds on the game do look strangely familiar...)
