The game is a lot of fun, both two player and one player. Its got everything a wrestling game should have, and an excellent career mode. The create-a-wrestler option is not bad, but no way near as good as Smackdown, et al. There are also more than sixty wrestlers. Which is a lot more than most other next-gen grappling games. However, and this is the brunt of my criticism, most of them you wont have heard of. Not unless youre a big fan of 80s wrestling. The roster does include the famous names Hulk Hogan (obviously), Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Andre the Giant, Rowdy Roddy Piper, the British Bulldog, Tito Santana, Texas Tornado Kerry Von Erich, the Road Warriors/Legion of Doom, the Nasty Boys, Bam Bam Bigelow, Sid Vicious, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, the Million Dollar Man Ted Diabase and Koko B. Ware. Those are the ones youll have heard of. And how many of those are Legends? And what about Macho Man Randy Savage? Ric Flair? Sting? Lex Luger? Arn Anderson? Jake the Snake Roberts? The Undertaker? Earthquake? Shawn Michaels? Sgt Slaughter? Big Van Vader? WHERE, OH PLEASE TELL ME WHERE, IS THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR?! If this game featured sixty, heck even fifty of the well-known WWF/WCW wrestlers from the 80s/90s, then it would be a classic. Even lesser names such as Papa Shango, Virgil, 2 Cold Scorpio and Tatanka would be great to see. Surely now someone can pick up the WWF licence and produce a WWF Classic Superstars game. The market is screaming for it.
