Lister insist on using the more expensive teak from mature trees, (the only teak specified by the world shipping industry) which gives the furniture a slightly darker appearance and ensures that it will last a lifetime.As sailors know, the high oil content in premium quality teak prevents it from rotting and makes it easy to maintain.
