UnbrandedTwin wheeled Garden Vacuum with Integrated ShredderFortunatly we discovered one of these at a car boot sale, (maybe the same one the previous reviewer owned). Best #12 we have spent in a long time. We have a large paved garden that is blighted by leaves, 20 minutes with this and it is clear. Would have been well worth the advertised price. 5 out of 5Tim14/10/2009 06:36:50

BoschAxt 2200 HpIve been having this shredder for nearly 3 years. Its extremely silent, powerful, effective and in short it does everything which has been meant on doing causing no problems at all. It rarely clogged and only when the hedges inserted where a bit wet and too much for the opening. It shreds to small pieces at the size of a sugar lump I would say. One piece of advise: first shed the fresh, green parts and keep the harder trims last or for in-between. You may occasionally need to use the harder trims to clean the teeth of the blade by shredding them through, when green or wet trims have accumulated on the teeth. If you can afford it, go for the next more powerful model with a larger opening.5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer03/10/2008 01:01:01

BoschAxt 2200 HpExcellent product, easy to assemble and use. It comes with a bag to collect the shredded material in and is quiet. Plant material feeds itself through without the need to be pushed and it doesnt get blocked. We are using our shredded material now to produce our own compost for the garden. I can definitely recommend it.5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer18/09/2008 01:01:01

BoschAxt 2200 HpEven the instructions for getting the thing out off the box are well thought out.Assembly is straight forward. It seems to be well built,it is built in Germany(it says so on the box).Strange that their labour costs dont stop them from manufacturing in their home country! The stop/start buttons could be bigger.Mine came with the bag. This does not fit very well on the two "hooks" on the machine,so certainly dont buy one.Much better to use/buy a plastic storage box.Noise.Well the figures stated on Amazon are different to that stated on the box. However, its quieter than my cement mixer which is rated at 85db!Even when chomping its way through 3-4cm "branches".So noise ,dont worry about it.How good does it do the job? Well it eats it way through anything that goes through the slot. However,Im pleasantly surprised at how well it chops up leafy, thin twiggy material.Every now and then it needs a woody branch to clean the cutting drum.Is it worth the money? Well it doesnt require a huge leap of imagination to realise that something spinning at 1000s RPM is noisey. This turns a leisurely 40 RPM, does a very good job, you can carry on a conversation at the same time and once you get the branch started ,it feeds itself. What more do want? Robert Bosch,I want a discount on a hedge trimmer I will probably buy from you!5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer15/07/2008 01:01:01

UnbrandedTwin wheeled Garden Vacuum with Integrated ShredderThre canot be many garden tools that are so inefective if you have bought one of these you will be advertising in a local shop window after the first time you used it. If you are tempted by the description of it`s ease of use forget it it is pure balony! 1 out of 5Daily04/05/2009 14:49:12

UnbrandedLogsplitterIf yu want to split matches this is the bit of kit for you. An axe is faster, cheaper, better for your health. Great for willow with no knots, but as i say you can do it faster by hand. I am sorry but the truth needs telling.0 out of 5Mark Green, Devon03/11/2010

UnbrandedpH MeterI have bought this crap. At the second measurement the measuring pin got stuck in the soil. Anyway, it was always showing 6.2. I fixed it and it showed 5.0 pH in water with sodium bicarbonate. Dont buy it, it is a crap!!!0 out of 5balagan13/08/2010

UnbrandedSoftside Garden CartA Fantastic little bit of kit that keeps all your bits and pieces together so you can get straight on with the garden jobs when time is short or when the kids have tipped out your tools from your bucket to wash the car and distributed therm round the garden.... I love it. It`s mine. It`s sacred. The kids don`t touch it. 5 out of 5FS09/04/2008 08:14:54

RYOBIPbc3046B 30Cc Straight Shaft Brushcutter With Clutch Bike Handle Zip StartExcellent machine; easy to start and well balanced. Good speed control with trigger throttle on handle. Unable to get the auto line feed to work but then that might be me...the next time I get one of them to work will be the first time. 4 out of 5Bob H.08/01/2007 15:29:22

LandxcapeBlower VacThe blower fan exploded through the outer casing spraying the broken shards with considerable force which would have caused a very serious injury had it have blown out the other side. FOR YOUR OWN and BYSTANDERS SAFETY I ADVISE YOU NOT TO USE THE MACHINE AS IT APPEARS from the reviews TO HAVE AN INHERANT FAULT ! It may be safer to return the product to the place you purchased it (mine was from ARGOS) before it explodes and explain why you are returning it. DUE TO THE POTENTIAL HARM THE MACHINE COULD HAVE CAUSED I WOULD NOW HAVE GIVEN THE PRODUCT a rate of -10 but this figure is not available so I have had to give it a 1 ! 3 out of 5Pip 08/03/2010

CEKACk Legend Power Lopper 600mmNot as good as you would expect. The handles on mine bent with very little pressure and I had to get them replaced under warranty. The new set lasted for about 18 months and then gave way at the hinge while cutting through an inch and a half of elder, not the hardest of wood. The plastic body just doesn`t seem up to the job. 2 out of 5Rob08/08/2006 21:01:58

LandxcapeBlower VacLandxcape garden vac looks the business but is actually total rubbish, in fact downright dangerous. Fan blade broke whilst picking up pile of leaves from lawn, plastic shards shattered outside casing of machine causing personal injury and bruising. Could have been nasty and taken someone`s eye out. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE BANNED BY TRADING STANDARDS! BEWARE!!! 1 out of 5Neil24/10/2008 16:33:53

QUALCASTElan32Absolutely no good what so ever. The motor is so weak that if the grass is just a little too long then the motor slows down. The bottom blade bar is too thin, if a bump is hit the bar bends up into the blade. Avoid at all costs 1 out of 5M. Price06/06/2007 18:09:11

Wilkinson SwordForkGive it a wide berth !!! Mine was a fathers day present which lasted 30 mins of digging before one of the prongs broke off.Its replacement(still on the same fathers day)lasted 3 forks full of recently dug soil before the wooden handle broke off - the `wooden` handle looked a little like modelling balsa wood!! At least it looked nice on the shelf at the shop. 1 out of 5forking29/06/2005 13:42:58

PowerforceImpact Shredder 2500WSo far, so brilliant. This has replaced a 14 year old Flymo shredder and the difference is dramatic. I have now completely filled two (1 ton, ex gravel) dumpy bags with marvellous wood chippings from a felled sycamore and some buddleia prunings. It is amazingly powerful and very quiet. There is no hint of blade wear yet and the blades can be reversed (and possibly also sharpened).0 out of 5Noel Cleave14/04/2010
