PingG5 Offset DriverI have tried most of the leading brands of driver`s. and of course different shafts, then by chance a g5 with graffaloy blue used by a friend,by the way he could not use, his opinion.fell into my hand`s. Game change, Slice, a thing of the past, distance increased, accuracy. can concentrate on iron`s to green. realy super head, great shaft. 5 out of 5Anon14/10/2009 11:11:45

UnbrandedRyder Golf Z40 Set of 9 IronsI have had these clubs for about a year now and to be honest I wasnt that good at golf and now I am 15 I hit off a 15 handicap compared to what I was hitting 1 year ago is astonishing, but I think now it is time for a change because the clubs are covered in when the ground is pretty firm hitting the ball is imposible with these clubs but they are defo a good club for someone who is just starting golf. 5 out of 5average11/08/2009 09:26:05

WilsonStaff Dd5 Driver (Graphite Shaft)I bought this driver on e-bay for $24.99.What a bargain !I took it straight to the course and the first drive went straight and long(248 yds into the wind as per skycaddie )My swing speed is app.90 mph and at 65 I am out hitting my younger friends. I was consistantly straight off the tee all day with my longest drive 286 yds. I played it again the next day and it nothing changed. I can hit it straight and long. I was using a wilson staff 9 degree driver before but couldn`t hit it consistantly straight. The same dd5 was selling in the pro shop for $299.00.I was sure lucky to find one at the price I paid, and I would put it up against any of the $3-400 dollar big names out there. 5 out of 5Texasted07/04/2009 08:30:56

MacGregorV-Foil M7.5K-GT Belly PutterThis is a superb belly putter - the best I have used, and so far I have had four different models. It may look huge and ungainly, but it`s beautifully balanced and easy to move in a totally controlled manner. Because of the good balance, it`s as good for delicate short down-hillers as it is for long, across-green trackers. Also, the very long alignment line allows extremely accurate placement of the clubhead on the chosen line. My only gripe is that the clubhead cover is a little fragile and could do with being made of more robust material. 5 out of 5ExiledWelshman17/02/2009 08:54:48

BenrossGolf V12+ Titanium DriverExcellent Driver that out performs its more costly counterparts. Hits long and straight. 9 degree loft with stiff shaft is the most comfortable for me. It`s the nearest I`ve ever been to being consistant off the tee using this club. Only slight problem is that the Golf Pride grip gets slippy in wet weather so keep it dry! 5 out of 5Hugh27/08/2008 17:43:04

Taylor MadeR7 Draw Driver18 Handicap, permanent `fade` off the tee.Had one of these for a month now.First two weeks hit everything except a draw! Finally worked out that because its so light the secret is to swing slow.Since then the middle of the fairway is easy, distance is good.My friends have commented that it is the best bit of kit I have ever bought.Only problem is that it is sometimes difficult to maintain the slow rythmn but persevere it is worth it. 5 out of 5BUSBOY16/08/2008 12:31:53

MizunoMX-23 Irons 3-PW SteelThese irons are fantastic, the feeling at impact is great you got to play the right ball to get the best feel though. These are a bit hard to work the ball with, if you are a higly skill golfer and you like to hit drewas and fades these might not be your first choice. For the avg golber from a 20 handicaper to a 10 I would say these are a great choice. The irons are soft so take care of them, hiting from mats might not be the best. UnbrandedMakser AS440 CF DriverI own a Ping `G2 Driver along with the Makser AS 440 CF. The Ping is a 8.5 degree and the Makser is a 9 degree. The Makser consistantly outdrives the Ping. YonexV-mass Tour IronsThese irons are for the better ball striker. Narrow sole, quite heavy, these play like blades but have a perimeter weighting to help with off-centre hits. Powerful clubs but need to be swung well. Very uncluttered look which will suit the purist. S300 shafts handle this clubhead well. Hit on a lowish trajectory, spin my proV1`s brilliantly. MizunoTour Style T401 Forged PutterI retired my Scotty Cameron putter to put this in my bag. For around £100 quid you get the lot... Forged and milled from a single block of carbon steel which the £200 Camerons dont even offer. I picked the T401 model because from above or face on the head is exactly symetrical which I like. If you putt square to square then this is the perfect putter, when you balance the shaft on your finger the face points perfectly upwards, this is because the neck is nearer the middle of the head than most other putters, this allows the shaft to point exactly to the sweet spot for better feel and no twisting of the head on contact. Looks amazing and expensive. BAD POINTS... only minor but the grip felt cheap which I changed. I would also liked to have seen a longer sight line which is just my preference. 5 out of 5A Sharp (1 handicap).04/03/2007 16:44:58

Alien3 Pro Series 2 Wedgei borrowed a freinds alien 3 pro series wedge and was loathed to give it back but i did and consequently i have just ordered my own, the wedge was unbelievably easy to use and that made bunker shots fun. my clubs are all mizuno and my s/w is a mp/t series wedge, which is brilliant around the green but never got the desired shot from in the bunker which is where it counts. the alien wedge has sorted this for me and i did`nt spend ages in the bunker hacking away like a lumberjack. when it arrives it will take pride of place alongside my mizuno wedge. 5 out of 5matt05/06/2006 12:18:41

RamWizard Recovery ClubFantastic club!!!! Only been playing this crazy game for 9 months and recently broke 100 but been having trouble staying the right side of that sometimes very elusive figure, bought the Ram Wizard and literally that afternoon scored 91 round a course just under 7000 yrds. If you get frustrated not being able to hit greens in regulation buy this club. I have a 21deg which i understand equates to somewhere between a 3 and 4 iron, but because of the way the club`s been designed it puts most 5 woods to shame, very very accurate and so easy to swing, go buy one! 5 out of 5Dave H21/11/2005 14:52:27

DunlopXTI Package SetAwesome value. I bought these a week or two ago and I"ve tested them both on the range and the course. The drivers/woods really stand out in the package (especially the 400cc driver) with excellent forgiveness, speed and distance in your shot. The sweet spots are easy to get with the stroke and they all respond quickly and rapidly, with their titanium faces. The irons are your typical mid to high end feel with excellent grips along with their flow weighted technology for great control, smoothness and distance in your shot. For the value you can"t go wrong. It"s an exceptional option for a beginner, however, I do believe that it truly ranks from intermediate to pro status. prosimmonModel X Mens Set ALL GRAPHITEGood beginner set - esp the 3 wood which is forgiving in the hand of a novice and the hybrid is a good replacement for the 3/4 irons which you won`t miss. The only joker in the pack is the putter which is a vile piece of junk which should be disposed of in your nearest skip and replaced with something altogether better. However, despite that, I would still recommend this set, the stand bag is decent quality and for sub #80 all in you can`t miss. One star off though because of that truly shocking excuse for a putter!! 4 out of 5AndyB11/03/2009 07:32:21

John LettersTrilogy TXD PutterThe TXD takes a little getting used to but well worth the effort in doing so. A great putter and like all John Letters equipment, at a great price. 4 out of 5David Terry22/08/2007 09:09:22

UnbrandedRegal Classic Golf Full SetVery good set of golf clubs for the average beginner. Woods slightly weak even with carbon fibre shafts. Rescue wood comes in very handy. 4 out of 5Greg06/06/2007 18:09:27

Bay Hill PalmerHP303 SetI have just got my hands on the bay hill HP-303 driver and it is fantastic. it cost me a quarter of the price of my cobra and hits the ball just as good if not better! great club 4 out of 5Jamie Mills10/05/2007 08:57:15

Taylor MadeXR-05 CTI Driver (graphite shaft)Massive Head, easy and confidant address, what more could you ask for when tee-ing up. I agree with other reviewers that confidance in the stroke is important - dont hold back. Trying to play a relaxed swing doesnot get the full potential out of the club. Mitsubishi shaft which is light and variable on flex so an easy swing could enable a dramatic fade. Hit through the ball with confidance and notice how tru and straight the ball goes. I have an 8.5 deg head and the distance the ball rolls is incredible - most ideal especially at the coast where extra wind may come into play - very satisfied! 4 out of 5Brendan Lowen12/10/2006 12:24:16

TAYLORMade RAC Forged TP Irons Steel 3-PW Custom BuildExtremely well balanced irons. As soon as I picked them up the weighting felt right. Slightly harder to hit than most, but when struck well they produce the goods. 4 out of 5J D Walsh05/06/2006 12:12:02

MizunoMP32 Iron Set (Steel)these are the most forgiving blades in the game, i play off 5 and these have added so much to my game. the short irons add both consistency and feel to the shorter iron shots, the longer irons may take some getting used to, but i assure you these are an awesome iron, please consider these!!!! 4 out of 5tom duggan03/05/2006 08:42:47
