| CRUISER | RG600 | had this guitar for 2 months. best used wih marshall cd or dfx amps for beginners. got roland micro cube. good for bassy slight distortioned rectifier mode but not heavy thrash metal. nice look but a bitch to use sitting on your lap. right shoulder gets tired cause of shape of fin. underside curve use over right leg but tired shoulder. use over left leg or inbetween for most comfort. i love this guitar, sounds cool and proper heavy metal when used with marshall mg15cd amp or mg15dfx amp. can use on low volume with roland micro cube if put on ACOUSTIC OR JC CLEAN AMP CHANNEL AND USE BOSS MT2 METAL ZONE FX PEDAL OR ITS CHEAPER CLONE : BEHRINGER UM100 ULTRA METAL DISTORTION PEDAL....(TURN UP TREBLE, CUT MIDS AND MEDIUM BASS AND 3/4 DISTORTION AND METALICCA SOUND OF 80S 90S). It has 2 single coil pickups and one humbucker which gives it a metal sound. If this is a second guitar then I reckon you should save up and buy a more expensive guitar, but if you are starting off this is great. The squier strats sell for about the same price but they dont have any humbuckers.
