CosattoOn the Move HighchairThe best highchair Ive ever bought have two children had bought highchairs that claim to fold small for easy storage before but this one really does it! It folds below work surface height and does slide down the side of the fridge and you basicaly cant see its there worth every penny. 5 out of 5happy mother10/10/2007 12:02:16

BeanstalkBaby Highchairi have just brought this high chair from argos and i was expecting it to be cheap and cheerful and i was wrong. it is so easy to clean, very compact to put away and i`m 100% happy with it. If your a first time parent and want a nice high chair, but not on the pricey side then choose this one! 5 out of 5connie17/12/2006 12:30:09

BeanstalkBaby HighchairI have just bought this high chair from Argos and cannot fault it. The tray adjust and slides on and off easily the harness is very good and the folding mechanism is very good in fact I only expected it to close in half when I got it but it folds up small and compact. i would definately recommend it, its great value for money. 5 out of 5Anon12/10/2006 12:23:53

UnbrandedMamma HighchairFantastic High Chair. Very sturdy, extremely comfortable, easy to clean and the adjustable back has been wonderful for reclining our baby when he `drops off` after feeding, for a quick snooze.

However, I have just spent the last three months trying to find a company who stocks spare padded seat covers. The existing one has been through two children and has really taken some wear. I am still looking for a distributor and am ready to give up! This is the only downfall we have had with this chair.

Mamas and PapasFuturaThis is THE best highchair on the market! No need to be tempted by those more expensive highchairs. This one holds baby securely and has excellent tray for both food and toys. Buy it now!5 out of 5Wilma Gooding27/06/2003 08:35:17

CombiEasy Glider HighchairI bought this high chair for my son not at that price though much cheaper. It is big and the wheels dont swivel but the glider action is a great advantage for younger babies, the height adjustment is easy and so is the recline adjustment, the tray has three positions and also can be removed. the basket storage underneath is handy for bibs and toys so you know where they are. I do move this about between the dinningroom and kitchen my son sits there while i cook his meals must be comfortable as he has fallen asleep in it quite a few times. Cleaning so far so good havent had to remove the cover yet but looks quite straightforward 4 out of 5homebabe01/03/2008 09:57:01

CombiEasy Glider HighchairWe used this from about 5 months old until nearly 2 years. It was great, but big and a bit difficult to clean! However our son was ver comfy in it and enjoyed his time in it. Pretty expensive though! 4 out of 5Kx19/02/2008 17:56:46

BeanstalkBaby HighchairI originally bought an argos own brand highchair after looking through their catalogue. When i arrived home and took it out of the box i never even bothered to take it out as it looked so cheap and plasticy with an awful pattern on the seat. I took it back and they refunded my £35. I then exchanged it for a beanstalk highchair which was ten pounds cheaper but i really cant fault it for that price. The design is bright and cheerful and it has a larger tray than most which is convenient. The only thing i would suggest changing is the straps as i would feel more comfortable if it had the five point harness that goes over the shoulders so baby is more secure. 4 out of 5cherie02/04/2007 14:26:01

East CoastJunior HighchairWe`ve had one of these chairs for 3 years now, it`s great. No problems with it at all. Ok not quite as funky as some of the wooden chairs out there, but a fraction of the price of most. We`re looking for a second one, as our fisrt child won`t give hers up! 4 out of 5Anon17/08/2006 20:57:53

CosattoOn the Move HighchairI have found this highchair invaluable - already it has travelled from pillar to post and withstood a lot of rough handling - its easy to put up and even easier to put down even if you are holding baby in one arm. Its reasonably easy to clean. 4 out of 5Maiden29/07/2006 21:39:54

UnbrandedKuster Highchair- BeechIt is all good exept that the harness slips down over babies arms and it takes up quite a bit of room as it doesn`t fold up very flat. 4 out of 5Emily18/02/2006 09:46:13

LipskiSit n GrowThe sit n` grow highchair is comfortable & practical. My seven month old sits in it quite nicely and I don`t feel horrified when he`s eating and making a mess all over the chair and himself as its so easy to clean. My first boy who is three enjoys watching television in his while having a snack at the same time. He likes his chair therefore he sits and eats much better than in his previous seat. It is great for what is was made to do which is sit the kids down to eat and make as much mess as they want to. 4 out of 5Natalie14/11/2005 13:45:00

MattelFisher Price Baby Gear Healthy Care HighchairWhen I first bought this highchair for my daughter, I loved it. All the features of the chair were great and I knew I`d made the right decision. However, I have discovered one major flaw with the highchair, which is a problem with the main base tray. Since my daughter`s first birthday, she has been able to remove the tray herself, dinners go flying regularly and on one occasion my son was sitting near the highchair and my daughter released the tray and it hit him on the head! I called Fisher Price/Mattel to ask for help in resolving this situation but they don`t seem to have an answer. I was told that my daughter was very clever! They have asked me to send the highchair back to them so it can be checked. I hope they take my comments seriously and it prompts a design change. For a child under one, its a great highchair. 3 out of 5bow5929/11/2007 09:15:07

UnbrandedKuster Highchair- BeechYes, as most people have already pointed out, it is impractical, however it looks great and with a large enough kitchen we didnt trip over the front of it (as it does stick out a bit) The straps do slip down due to them not being joined at the shoulders, but this didnt worry me too much as I found it sufficiently secure around the waist. A lip around the tray would have been better, but would detract from the sleek, modern look of it, and experience tells me if baby really wants to drop food on the floor, they will - lip or not!! Practically, it gets a 1, but if your after a fashion statement, it gets a 4 3 out of 5Deborah04/09/2007 17:45:28

UnbrandedKuster Highchair- BeechI have this highchair and would definately say its more fashionable than practical... however its not a complete waste of space! if you have a large kitchen/ diner the size issue is not a problem, the cushions are easy to wash and yes the harness does mean it takes more than 30secs to put in the wash but its better than the cushions sliding/slipping under baby! the only downfalls are the harness doesnt stay on but i used it round my daughters waist(never escaped) the cushion isnt high enough and there is no lip on the food tray... oh the harness attaches to the bottom of the tray stopping baby from slipping through, for those who says it doesnt! Again this highchair is FASHIONABLE not PRACTICAL! I love it though!!!! 3 out of 5kuster lover!26/07/2007 18:23:40

HandysittBooster SeatClever design but would be much better with a 5 point harness as my 8 month old tends to lean out. There are cheaper alternatives but this is very classy and sturdy.3 out of 5Donna Kym03/09/2002 08:39:19

UnbrandedKuster Highchair- BeechI bought this highchair because it looks good (after all a highchair is permanently out in your house for quite some time) but I regret it now. It has a material covered foam cushion/booster seat which takes ages to undo from the harness and highchair when you want to stick it in the wash. The booster seat alone has 4 different pieces of foam in it that need to be removed and then squidged back in after washing and then you have to thread the harness through the foam/material/wooden seat in several places and it`s all quite fiddly. The harness keeps slipping off the shoulders which is useless. If you`re looking to buy a highchair - I`d look for one where the straps are attached high up (ie from behind the baby`s shoulders) or have some way of tightening between the shoulders at the back. Plus points - the wooden tray can be pulled out with one hand and the fact that it`s flat makes it nice and easy to wipe clean. The basket underneath is useful for storing bibs and wipes. 2 out of 5Charlotte29/07/2006 21:42:42

UnbrandedKuster Highchair- BeechLooks very smart but very impractical. Legs stick out further than expected and we`re always tripping over them. Easy to keep clean but thats with most highchairs these days. Wish i went for a tray with a lip so that my girl couldnt swipe everything off the edge! 2 out of 5Mrs21/02/2006 12:38:51

Mamas and PapasPrima PappaThe seat cushion split after only 3 months use. Mama`s and Papa`s disputed whether it was a manufacturing fault and refused to replace it because we had purchased it more than six months before use (it sat in it`s box the whole time) so the warranty had run out.

Mama`s and Papa`s then wanted £38 for a replacement cushion which was absurd when it cost £88.99 in the first place.

Kiddicare, who we purchased it through, passed the buck to Mama`s and Papa`s for resolution where Mama`s and Papa`s said it should be resolved via the retailer.....

In addition it is overcomplicated to fold out and away again.

East CoastJunior HighchairLovely looking chair, but no suction items will stick to the tray (toys, bowls) but more importantly, the harness provided is very brittle and the clips snapped on both the original and a replacement. We were offered a different harness but as this wouldn't have a crotch strap we declined and have sent the chair back.

Impractical, and also difficult to clean, food gets trapped inbetween the pieces of wood.

UnbrandedKuster Highchair- BeechI bought this highchair for my first grandchild in the summer of 2006 and I wish I had not been seduced by it`s `designer looks` Any further thought at kuster`s as to how it performed practically and safely was obviously never considered. I The most serious points are as followed: 1. The harness is very difficult to put on and off, it slips off the child`s shoulders and remains around their elbows, it would have helped if it had been positioned above the shoulders and not through the cushion next to their bottoms. To tighten to stop this happening seriously pulls the childs shoulders down. 2. We have not yet washed the padded cushion but are dreading this as it looks fiendishly difficult and more than impraticable. 3.The wooden back of the highchair is above the cushion this is a serious safety feature, one expects all babies to throw their heads back however, a serious bump to the head could result using this highchair. 4.When undoing the harness and struggling to extracate the childs arms you have to really be careful that your child does not suddenly slide between the tray and the seat and disappear. 5.It is a shame that the curved moulding of the plywood of the highchair is so appealing and atractive yet was not also considered to be used to produce a tray that also had curved edges for praticality. 6. It is very heavy, difficult to move and does not fold up easily. 7. It is very expensive, not fit for purpose and a disgraceful example of very poor design. I think Kuster should spend more on research and development before launching any more of these on the baby market. I find it hard to justify 1 out of five as quite honestly 0 out of five would be my choice 1 out of 5Sara Robbins07/05/2007 08:54:41

Mamas & PapasBistro Baby Chairtotally unhappy with this highchair the seat pad ripped very quickly (know of others this happened to also) M&P were very unhelpful saying not a design fault and could buy a new pad for around £30, it was cheaper to buy a cheap highchair elsewhere which has been great 1 out of 5Anon09/03/2007 10:56:12

Mamas & PapasFutura HighchairI bought this highchair 3 years ago. In that time two seat pads have split along the seems and Mamas and Papas have refused to replace them offering to post new ones out if you pay for it. Various friends who purchased different brands have used theirs more and have no split seat pad at all. The frame itself adjusts to different heights which is really good but a disadvantage is that it doesn`t tilt back so in the early stages of weening it isn`t very good. The highchair itself is good but the seat pads are terrible. 1 out of 5Southy Yorks22/09/2006 11:42:06

BabyDanDanchairTHE CHAIR HAS NOT BEEN DESIGNED WELL ENOUGH. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO MANOVERE CHILDS LEGS UNDER THE BAR. YOU CANNOT ADJUST THE CHAIR AS THEN THE BLACK RESTRAINT WILL NOT FIT. 1 out of 5JONES26/05/2006 08:07:40

BeanstalkBaby HighchairThe version shown in the photo is not the one you now receive from Argos, the main difference is the harness no longer comes through the chair it just hangs there which means it is very easy for the child to slip forward especially as even when the straps are adjusted they slip out of the adjusted position and loosen off. Also who decided on white straps that mark easily and then are impossible to get clean without dismantling the chair. Probably the worst design error is the tray lock, my 9 month old baby kicks her legs up and not only unlocks the tray but sends it flying off the chair, I have to use a piece of plastic to lock it in place. All in all it does the job but I wouldn"t buy it again, I"d go for a better model 1 out of 5photoman24/04/2005 21:34:09

UnbrandedKuster Highchair- BeechDon`t buy this highchair. It`s awful, impractical and won`t suit any baby below the age of 3. The straps are ridiculously impractical and not fit for purpose, it would be extremely easy for a baby to slip off the chair whilst getting them in or out. The cushions are expensive and extremely poor quality. I cannot urge you enough NOT to buy this product. 0 out of 5Gerry15/06/2007 12:59:21
