This was easy to use and install (I have a Mac mini) so 2 stars for that, and the print quality is very good BUT as soon as I bought the next set of cartridges (VERY EXPENSIVE), the problems began. Despite ensuring I had the correct compatible cartridges, the software insisted these were either (a) not loaded correctly or (b) were incompatible. Nothing in the help manual will actually help, so I now have a printer that wont accept Canon cartridges and that cannot be fixed. More plastic for the landfill? What a waste.

Reviewed by: Amazon Reviewer Rating: Date Reviewed: 06May2007 | | | I bought this printer last Novmember. Having done quite a lot of research on printer through shops and other online printer retailers, I found at same price, this one get the best quality and accessories. You dont need to purchase ink cartriages seperately. at about 30 pounds, it includes 2 ink cartriages and sample photo papers. Besides, the documents it produced are in really good quality, and quite fast, compared with Laxmark. As a pervious comment said, it is a really good choice for student, who normally just do some simple printing for courseworks. If you are one of them, I would say this is tailored for you. Only drawback is it might be a bit larger, but I still think it is great!
