Fun Strong Safe Interesting Challenging. Teaches steering skills, can have a trailer, good indoors and out, doesnt take up too much space, good for handing on and for the next generation. Keep box for long-term storage. Have had this toy in our family in constant use since 1965.

I bought this trike for my grandsons first birthday as I remembered what fun a trike was for my own small children. It is sturdy and easy to put together. However, he is not yet walking and his legs arent yet quite long enough so he is still quite nervous of it and hasnt yet fully benefited. It looks durable but time will tell. The front wheels turn, which makes it a bit difficult to control for a very young child - a few months on will be a different story.

Bought for my 1 yr old. Hes a bit too into his walking at present to be too interested in using the trike on his own, but when I sit him on it and whizz him around the room he is in fits of giggles. Seems very sturdy and the lovely bright colours are fab. Would recommend it.

My daughter had one of these for her first birthday and now she has bought one for her own daughters first birthday. I am sure she will have as many hours of fun on it as her mum did (and all the children it was passed on to!).

I bought this trike for my grandsons first birthday & although he was interested and would happily sit on it for quite a long time, it took him a few months to get moving. However now he is off it is used every day, inside and out, and has to go with him wherever he goes. It is a nice size for small children and is very sturdy. Would highly recommend as a first `ride on`.

My parents bought me one of these in 1974 when was 2 years old and I loved it. I hammered it. I would race up and down the garden path on it with incredible energy. If I hadnt grown too big to sit on it I would never have given it up.
Now the father of my own one year old child, would I buy her one? Certainly not! I dont need to. Shes just inherited mine. A bit worn but perfectly serviceable after 30 years in the loft. Shes dead pleased with it too.
So, yes, built to last.

What a great wee toy. Bought this for my daughter recently and its been a big hit. Really easy to assemble - only two screws, but its still a sturdy wee thing. Can be used just as easily outside as indoors. Most importantly - my girl loves it. All in all, a great buy. Highly recommend.

We got this for my son when he was about 20 months old and he absolutely adores it. It is the first thing he wants to play with in the morning and the last thing he wants to play with at night. It is sturdy (has supported a friends eight and ten year olds) and nice and plain and traditional as well. He can manouevre it around the house with ease.
Just hoping he will be prepared to give it up when our next child wants it!

We got this for my sons first birthday and although he loved it from the minute he saw it, it took him a little while to get triking. He has now just had his second birthday and generally has a little trike every day. Its sturdy and looks as nice as it did when we got it. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone.
