Designed by Robert Welch RDI MBE, a range of stainless steel featuring beautifully curved lines and heavy gauged solid handles. Each piece of cutlery is stamped stainless steel up to 5.5mm thickness, with the spoons and forks being made from 18/10 stainless steel and the knives forged from a single ingot of especially hardened stainless steel that maintains a cutting edge. They are presented in a stylish gift box (not suitable for storage). Robert Welch trained as a Silversmith at Birmingham College of Art. He then moved to the Royal College of Art in 1952, where he specialised exclusively in stainless steel production design. In 1965 he was awarded Royal Designer for Industry.
