| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile LOC Slate Effect Blue/Grey 1.85sqm | I`ve laid these Tile-LOC panels (from B & Q) in our kitchen about three years ago and yes, it`s quite difficult but the result is excellent. The finished floor is tough, very hardwearing and visitors have mistaken it for genuine rustic ceramic tiles. Laying them is tricky because you have to assemble a full length and then tilt the whole lot in order to offer it at the correct angle to lock into the next row correctly. Make templates from card for awkward corners and check they fit before cutting the actual material. I`m not a professional and it wasn`t easy, but well worth the effort. | | DIY Pete | 22/07/2009 18:17:20 |

| Unbranded | Tough LOC Legacy Oak 2.15sqm | fantatsic look, if you lay it properly it goes down well and joints look great. did the hall and livingroom in my old house and going to do it again in this one, best laminate i`ve seen in a long time! | | angel | 11/12/2008 09:45:19 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effect | Bought from B & Q 18 months ago and had it fitted by a joiner. We have 30m square kitchen and it was easily fitted along with skirting boards in a day. Easy to wipe clean with a mop, and has stood up to 3 young kids very well - not a mark on it yet! Would definately buy again. | | Satisfied customer | 07/09/2008 10:01:50 |

| Unbranded | Tough LOC Riverside Oak 2.15sqm | We wanted something tough for the lounge, and we were on a limited budget, but didn`t want the floor to look cheap. The colour is perfect, mid tone brown with a warm hue, but not red. The lounge is the darkest room in the house so we were tempted to go for a blonder colour, but the riverside oak looks rich and warm and because light bounces off it, the room looks lighter and bigger! Fitting it was a doddle, the quality of the pieces are superb, we have finished up with a flawless floor! There`s alot of grain and knots in the design, but it doesn`t look busy, it has added character and, we think, a bit of style. We are so pleased with the look, and because the colour goes with anything, we are laminating all the bedrooms and hallway with the same product. | | T Burcham | 01/04/2008 18:46:20 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effect | There is a nack of fitting this tile loc stuff. I start on the left hand side of the room and have the wider lip on the right and top of the piece (with the bottom against the wall). It can be fitted another way round but is more difficult to lock together. Then fit in lengths, do a whole length then start the next run. You don`t need any kit only a saw to cut your lengths, even a hammer may be optional. The only thing, as with any laminate like this, is that if you keep moving the floor the lips can be damaged. | | Stuart | 19/10/2007 13:12:40 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile LOC Florentine Black Effect 5pk | i have laid this product in my bathroom - and generally pleased with the effect - even tho some of the planks were very hard to `lock in`..
however - i have been unable to locate matching black `pipe roses` and a matching black threshold for the door! my local B&Q were totally at a loss! until this is sorted the bathroom remains unfinished..anyone help with the appropriate products or know who manufactures? seems so stupid to produce a product without the extras needed! | | jonathan poole | 17/11/2006 17:37:21 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effect | you fit it like it says on the packaging, guess yours may not be the same, got mine from B&Q don`t need any fitting kit, just a jigsaw and a hammer!
why on earth you`d need a video to show you I have no idea, start at one side, cut to fit and lift and push each subsequent line of tiles into place, they clip together and that`s it... | | DIYer | 22/09/2006 11:43:24 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile LOC Slate Effect Blue/Grey 1.85sqm | Good product, as mentioned before it takes a couple of rows to get the hang of it (give the boards a little wiggle and the joints disappear) but as no glue is needed you can practice a bit. It comes with full instructions and needs just a little common sense to get good results. I would also rate this at 4 1/2 but its only the lack of accesories from B&Q (colour matched filler would be useful) that stops it being a 5 | | Lee | 17/08/2006 17:40:09 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile LOC Slate Effect Blue/Grey 1.85sqm | I have given this a 4 (there was no 41/2) because we found it a bit difficult to lay- you have to develop the `knack` which you get after a couple of rows. Other than that I cannot fault it.....We have given it such a knocking about over the past 12 months and it hasn`t got a mark on it!! plates smashed on it, knives dropped on it, gravel walked across it, boiling hot fat spilt on it. You cannot see the joins and it has a real-feel embossed finish. Fantastic. | | Teresa | 25/04/2006 09:43:44 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effect | I`ve bought this flooring from b+q and have the same problem fitting pieces together while trying to bend it two ways, yes you should lift it row by row and slide it together easy but what if your fitting it at the ends and you dont have the room left to lift the whole piece/run,please some body reply with an answer,i.e knocking bar for wood flooring?maybe. | | chris 31 | 15/10/2007 11:16:32 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Aqua Loc Oregon Oak Effect 8 pk | Flooring seems ok but there are no accesories available. Is this a problem with the retailers (B & Q) or Floormaster Aqua loc manufacturer - who incidently are not able to be contacted about their products and their availability. There is no contact information on the packaging so what does that say about the so-called guarantee??
I would advise prospective purchasers to consider the Quick-step product range which is better supported by retail outlets in terms of matching trim, skirting, etc.

|
| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effect | It looks OK. Still in its box mind you. Well with all the hype and displays in B & Q you would have thought there would be some form of instruction how to lay this flooring, but no. The only info states that there will be an installation video available early 2006 along with a full selection of fitting aids including a B%Q fitting kit and protective knee pads. Also a wide range of complementory accessories which are listed in the brochure. Regrettably they are still not available at the time of writing and I bought this over a month ago. It is now 21st February 2006 and I have now had my bathroom suite delivered but I am unable to fit it until the floor is layed. What I am supposed to do with it until B&Q get themselves sorted I do not know. Not just a little inconvenient wouldn`t you agree? | | Dissattisfied Purchaser | 27/02/2006 11:59:32 |

| Unbranded | Tough LOC Legacy Oak 2.15sqm | B&Q Toughloc laminate flooring 7mm thickness.Having laid two previous laminate floors on concrete base, in awkward shaped rooms and not so dry and even floors, our new build house hallway was to be a doddle. WRONG. I shold have stopped as I was installing it, took it back to BandQ got a refund and gone back to Floors to go, where I purchased previous flooring.Quality of this floor was/is utter rubbish.we have spoken to BandQ who were helpful but simply passed us onto a company who deals with the supply of the majority of their goods...but guess what.....not this one. Toldvery bruptly that because we had not put down a 0.2mm plastic membrane directly onto the concrete, te guarantee was void and sod off vasically. Now I know some of you out there will be saying...well if you did not put it down then you are not following the instructions the floor could / will gt damp ad the edges will lift and splinter etc etc and I deserve to rot in hell etc etc. Well firstly we put down a rathe expensive blown vinyl undewrlay directly onto the concrete, which incidentally had been laid some 18 months previously. the floor had not been covered as the new house had stood empty for that period of time.Anyway cut a long moan short it`s up tpo you but I shall never purchase their flooring again. This was not a cheap floor either.Previous floors have still looked s good 7 years on , and they were in really old, possibly slightly damp properties.Damp or even the slightest possibility of damp on this floor is simply not an option, bone dry, yet the floor edges are lifted and cracking away. Our floor is now shedding it`s edges, looks crap and will only get worse. Be warned, pay the extra and go elsewhere. | | Ex B&Q | 29/10/2009 09:22:13 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effect | Don`t buy this product we have it in our kitchen been laid down 2 years. It chipped only a few months after being laid and there are loads of marks on it now. Got in contact with B & Q and they contacted the manufacturers Tapis UK and their answer was that marking, scratching and chipping is normal! My husband found it a nightmare to lay we are now considering taking it up and laying something more hardwearing down. There is only the 2 of us at home now so we do not have much wear and tear. | | Annoyed purchaser | 29/10/2009 09:11:04 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effect | Put it in the kitchen two years ago - found it very easy to lay - even had my son doing it at the end - and he`s certainly no diy fan (eg - he once raced his sister at putting together identical flat pack bedside cabinets - I thought he`d won by a country mile until I went to move it into place - it fell apart because he didn`t realise the joints were to hold it together !!). Two years on we still like it and it is easily maintained. My sister-in-law liked it and asked me to put some down for her. Now my daughter wants me to lay it in her house. | | R james | 27/02/2008 09:16:42 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Slate Effect Green/Brown | This flooring looks lovely in my kitchen, the only problem is that you cannot seem to get the beading / trim to match. They make the type which clips together (one part has to go underneath the flooring) but if like us you laid the floor before you realised this and wanted to purchase the type that goes on top you will be disappointed!! | | Carly | 01/05/2007 08:32:29 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile LOC Slate Effect Blue/Grey 1.85sqm | I`ve laid a lot of laminate flooring and this particular product is the most difficult of all to lay! The instructions are clear and I followed them to the letter but it is still difficult. The joints are weak compared to other products and it`s nearly impossible to hide the joint. Also, the instructions say to lift the row as you insert the next piece - this is not always possible when, for example the preceding row has been pushed under a door architrave. I don`t doubt they are hard wearing and do the job once laid, but the laying and the joint problems make it worthwhile looking for another product | | John | 06/12/2006 07:20:04 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile LOC Slate Effect Blue/Grey 1.85sqm | To the girl that was going to get her boyfriend to lay floor in bathroom. If you can be bothered extending the water pipes to the sink and cistern the best finish is to remove pedestel and toilet and floor right thro. You will have to cut round the waste pipes and get a hole cutter for the water pipes and cut slightly big to allow joints to be pushed together without pulling on pipe. The hole behind the sink ped can be cut large enough for the waste and both hot cold pipes as will be hidden. Bead of silicone on bottom of ped and toilet before refitting. | | James | 03/01/2009 08:47:13 |

| Unbranded | Floormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effect | Have just started fitting Tileloc Moroccan stone. Most joints are pretty good, but some joints are slightly open. I have followed the instructions provided but lifting a complete length of a number of boards (in my kitchen this equates to 3 lengths) that have been joined along their shortest edge in order to engage the longest edge is not the easiest thing in the world even with 2 people. If the boards in this new section are not perfectly aligned with each other, then when you try to engage this section with the previous row, one board will hold off the remainders from engaging properly. Individual boards will not move along their short edge without dismantling the new section. In future I shall lay the sections across the room rather than along it to minimise the length that requires engaging between rows. | | Ian | 01/04/2008 18:48:05 |
