UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate EffectBought from B & Q 18 months ago and had it fitted by a joiner. We have 30m square kitchen and it was easily fitted along with skirting boards in a day. Easy to wipe clean with a mop, and has stood up to 3 young kids very well - not a mark on it yet! Would definately buy again. 5 out of 5Satisfied customer07/09/2008 10:01:50

UnbrandedTough LOC Riverside Oak 2.15sqmWe wanted something tough for the lounge, and we were on a limited budget, but didn`t want the floor to look cheap. The colour is perfect, mid tone brown with a warm hue, but not red. The lounge is the darkest room in the house so we were tempted to go for a blonder colour, but the riverside oak looks rich and warm and because light bounces off it, the room looks lighter and bigger! Fitting it was a doddle, the quality of the pieces are superb, we have finished up with a flawless floor! There`s alot of grain and knots in the design, but it doesn`t look busy, it has added character and, we think, a bit of style. We are so pleased with the look, and because the colour goes with anything, we are laminating all the bedrooms and hallway with the same product. 5 out of 5T Burcham01/04/2008 18:46:20

Mind you, the last floor I laid was 20 years ago!!!

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate EffectThere is a nack of fitting this tile loc stuff. I start on the left hand side of the room and have the wider lip on the right and top of the piece (with the bottom against the wall). It can be fitted another way round but is more difficult to lock together. Then fit in lengths, do a whole length then start the next run. You don`t need any kit only a saw to cut your lengths, even a hammer may be optional. The only thing, as with any laminate like this, is that if you keep moving the floor the lips can be damaged. 4 out of 5Stuart19/10/2007 13:12:40

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile LOC Florentine Black Effect 5pki have laid this product in my bathroom - and generally pleased with the effect - even tho some of the planks were very hard to `lock in`..

however - i have been unable to locate matching black `pipe roses` and a matching black threshold for the door! my local B&Q were totally at a loss! until this is sorted the bathroom remains unfinished..anyone help with the appropriate products or know who manufactures? seems so stupid to produce a product without the extras needed!

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate Effectyou fit it like it says on the packaging, guess yours may not be the same, got mine from B&Q don`t need any fitting kit, just a jigsaw and a hammer!

why on earth you`d need a video to show you I have no idea, start at one side, cut to fit and lift and push each subsequent line of tiles into place, they clip together and that`s it...

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile LOC Slate Effect Blue/Grey 1.85sqmGood product, as mentioned before it takes a couple of rows to get the hang of it (give the boards a little wiggle and the joints disappear) but as no glue is needed you can practice a bit. It comes with full instructions and needs just a little common sense to get good results. I would also rate this at 4 1/2 but its only the lack of accesories from B&Q (colour matched filler would be useful) that stops it being a 5 4 out of 5Lee17/08/2006 17:40:09

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile LOC Slate Effect Blue/Grey 1.85sqmI have given this a 4 (there was no 41/2) because we found it a bit difficult to lay- you have to develop the `knack` which you get after a couple of rows. Other than that I cannot fault it.....We have given it such a knocking about over the past 12 months and it hasn`t got a mark on it!! plates smashed on it, knives dropped on it, gravel walked across it, boiling hot fat spilt on it. You cannot see the joins and it has a real-feel embossed finish. Fantastic. 4 out of 5Teresa25/04/2006 09:43:44

UnbrandedAqua LOC Driftwood Oak 1.91sqmExcellent product, cuts easily without `chipping` ends, also because of the grain and knot effect joins don`t stand out. 4 out of 5Paul30/12/2005 15:46:12

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate EffectI`ve bought this flooring from b+q and have the same problem fitting pieces together while trying to bend it two ways, yes you should lift it row by row and slide it together easy but what if your fitting it at the ends and you dont have the room left to lift the whole piece/run,please some body reply with an answer,i.e knocking bar for wood flooring?maybe. 3 out of 5chris 3115/10/2007 11:16:32

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate EffectI have spent 5 hours on a Saturday afternoon trying to get this product together I am not stupid or non DIY, but this floor has the beating of me and my kitchen, how do you link one board to another whilst trying to bend it two ways because it won`t slide unless it`s bent??????????? UnbrandedFloormaster Aqua Loc Oregon Oak Effect 8 pkFlooring seems ok but there are no accesories available. Is this a problem with the retailers (B & Q) or Floormaster Aqua loc manufacturer - who incidently are not able to be contacted about their products and their availability. There is no contact information on the packaging so what does that say about the so-called guarantee??

I would advise prospective purchasers to consider the Quick-step product range which is better supported by retail outlets in terms of matching trim, skirting, etc.

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate EffectIt looks OK. Still in its box mind you. Well with all the hype and displays in B & Q you would have thought there would be some form of instruction how to lay this flooring, but no. The only info states that there will be an installation video available early 2006 along with a full selection of fitting aids including a B%Q fitting kit and protective knee pads. Also a wide range of complementory accessories which are listed in the brochure. Regrettably they are still not available at the time of writing and I bought this over a month ago. It is now 21st February 2006 and I have now had my bathroom suite delivered but I am unable to fit it until the floor is layed. What I am supposed to do with it until B&Q get themselves sorted I do not know. Not just a little inconvenient wouldn`t you agree? 2 out of 5Dissattisfied Purchaser27/02/2006 11:59:32

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate EffectPut it in the kitchen two years ago - found it very easy to lay - even had my son doing it at the end - and he`s certainly no diy fan (eg - he once raced his sister at putting together identical flat pack bedside cabinets - I thought he`d won by a country mile until I went to move it into place - it fell apart because he didn`t realise the joints were to hold it together !!). Two years on we still like it and it is easily maintained. My sister-in-law liked it and asked me to put some down for her. Now my daughter wants me to lay it in her house. 1 out of 5R james27/02/2008 09:16:42

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Slate Effect Green/BrownThis flooring looks lovely in my kitchen, the only problem is that you cannot seem to get the beading / trim to match. They make the type which clips together (one part has to go underneath the flooring) but if like us you laid the floor before you realised this and wanted to purchase the type that goes on top you will be disappointed!! 1 out of 5Carly01/05/2007 08:32:29

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile LOC Slate Effect Blue/Grey 1.85sqmI`ve laid a lot of laminate flooring and this particular product is the most difficult of all to lay! The instructions are clear and I followed them to the letter but it is still difficult. The joints are weak compared to other products and it`s nearly impossible to hide the joint. Also, the instructions say to lift the row as you insert the next piece - this is not always possible when, for example the preceding row has been pushed under a door architrave. I don`t doubt they are hard wearing and do the job once laid, but the laying and the joint problems make it worthwhile looking for another product 1 out of 5John06/12/2006 07:20:04

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate EffectHave just started fitting Tileloc Moroccan stone. Most joints are pretty good, but some joints are slightly open. I have followed the instructions provided but lifting a complete length of a number of boards (in my kitchen this equates to 3 lengths) that have been joined along their shortest edge in order to engage the longest edge is not the easiest thing in the world even with 2 people. If the boards in this new section are not perfectly aligned with each other, then when you try to engage this section with the previous row, one board will hold off the remainders from engaging properly. Individual boards will not move along their short edge without dismantling the new section. In future I shall lay the sections across the room rather than along it to minimise the length that requires engaging between rows. 0 out of 5Ian01/04/2008 18:48:05

UnbrandedFloormaster Tile Loc Random Slate EffectBought the tileloc slate effect flooring - looks just the job - and have since searched for the installation video - so far without success! Help! Do I start in the middle, sides or corners? How do I cut it? It cant be that this product is sold with absolutely no instructions whatsoever. Has anyone found the video????? This must be retail madness. Help! 0 out of 5Victoria10/04/2006 15:17:58
