An excellent screen, so far as I can see no dead pixels. Delivery was very prompt, received by 10.00am on the next day after ordering.

Crustal clear screen, masses of space, actually easier to put on the stand than the 194D. I didnt need the CD to connect - it just plugged and played immediately. The speakers are a bit tinny so my sister has kept her old ones, and it only comes with a VGA cable so youll need to buy that extra, but this monitor is a serious bit of kit and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

I had never heard of the brand as I am not computer literate so asked the IT manager in my company who said it was a good brand and we had several Hanns-G products in the company. I made my choice after reading the reviews on here and am delighted with my choice. It was easy to set up and does everything I need it to do.

About the sound, this is a monitor, not a TV or sound system. The sound is tinny, but if you are interested in sound, then buy a decent sound system it will beat any monitor speakers.
My advice, if you are looking for a 19` monitor, 4:3 ratio, buy this one.

I use two monitors, and am using a 17 Samsung for my second monitor.
I thought this was clear and bright until I got the Hanns, now my 2nd monitor looks dark and blurry too so it looks like Ill be shelling out for a second Hanns as it is superb.
Great clarity, brightness, contrast, and.... its viewable area is about 2 bigger than my old CRT 19(Work that one out if you can).
No dead pixels that I can see, and I can actually read a book after using it without straining my eyes to get the words into focus.
Excellent.
Buy one yesterday.

Was going to buy the same thing again for my father in law, but the HX191 was £10 cheaper and had a better spec. Its now arrived and Im not disappointed. The display is great - nice and bright, which will suit him fine. Ive no stuck/dead pixels. Im using the sound, as it will save him extra bits around his machine, and they are fine for the normal peebs and beeps from windows - a bit tinny for music.
All in all a great product - Ill keep buying HannsG
