I did plenty of research before opting for this little baby. Im glad to say the research paid off. The picture and sound are both superb. We have this Sony in our bedroom which means the 20` screen is just the right size - not too overwhelming. The SD picture is very good and the set-up was effortless. You plug it in and connect an aerial, turn on the set and the little Bravia does the rest! Tuning both analogue and digital channels in less than a couple of minutes. Simple. The HD picture is excellent as youd expect from Sony. I have a Panasonic 32` 1080p downstairs and the difference between the two whist playing my PS3 is practically non-existent! As I said before, the sound is very good with this Sony. If Im watching a DVD/Bluray or playing on the PS3 I like to have the volume reasonably high and have never noticed any tinniness or distortion. My wife watches the music channels on it and has them turned up pretty loud if were getting ready to go out and the sound is always crystal clear too! Also, we have this set at the foot of our bed, well above eye line and there is hardly any loss of contrast whist lying down watching TV! Overall Im am very satisfied with this little Sony and glad I spent a little extra instead of opting for a cheaper bog-standard supermarket special!

Why didnt I go for a Sony in the first place?
You gets what you pay for.....

It took exactly five minutes from switching on to automatically tune in both analogue and digital programmes, our kitchen TV aerial is in the loft and I wondered whether we would be able to get a good reception but the picture quality and sound couldnt be better. I wanted a flat screen that would easily be put onto the wall in the kitchen dining area. The back of the set is black but this cannot been seen when on the wall the front matches my white kitchen cupboards, to be able to put the tv on the wall you need to remove the stand by removing 3 screws, the instructions are not that clear which 3 to remove, for those who have the same problem, it is the 3 of the 4 nearest to the centre then fit the suggested bracket which I ordered at the same time as the tv. I am very happy with my purchase.

The Sony is a replacement for an old CRT tv that lived in the kitchen. The 20 inch size is perfect. I am very impressed with this Sonys ability to pick up digital channels so well as I am in a notoriously bad digital reception area.
In fact the picture is SO good it now makes my Panasonic CRT in the sitting room a poor second, even with Satellite reception. My only and very little niggle is that the back of this lovely white TV is, in fact, black. Sound on this unit is very good.
Full marks to Amazon also for efficiently processing my order and keeping me informed of dispatches, etc. And the price was £100 cheaper than what I could buy this TV for locally.
