philipsEco Classic 30 42W ES Pearl BulbGreat bulb, as bright as a normal 100watt and unlike other low energy bulbs does not take time to warm up etc. This bulb can also be dimmed and works with electronic switches and dimmer switches which most other low wattage versions do not. It`s not as low energy as some of the others such as the 15 watt models, but 30% reduction is still worthwhile 5 out of 5Martin06/09/2009 15:25:32

Unbranded50W GU10 Mains Halogen BulbsWe are in a rented flat and I tried to get a GU10 out of its holder.I was told to put on a marigold rubber glove and twist the bulb to the left and it came out, very easy.I dont think that these last as long as the dichroic 12v and you only seem to able to get them in 50w,time will tell. 3 out of 5RONALD R24/12/2002 10:21:23

philipsEco Classic 30 42W ES Pearl BulbUsed the bulb with one dimmer switch and it was fine. Used it in a Ikea lamp with a dimmer switch and it strobed when dimmed. It seems that some dimmer switches are not sutable for this product. This is not mentioned on the box. 1 out of 5Anon27/01/2009 07:45:13

Unbranded50 Watt GU10 Mains Halogen BulbsHorrible product. It burned me. Then a few days later the fixture started smoking and caught on fire. I splashed water on it to put out the fire and the bulb exploded and the fixture started sparking. These things should be called satan lights. Customer service was no help either. They said I didn`t hook it up right and shoulda followed the instuctions or something, I wasnt really listening to the guy. Lies, its all lies. 1 out of 5Joes lites and lectric27/08/2008 17:46:03

OSRAMG9 40W Halogen Lamp 240VBeware of the g9 light fitting.I have owned three, the first I took back after two months because it had blown six bulbs. The bulbs are supposed to last 2000 hours mine were lasting less than 100. The second no problem up to now. The third fitting I`ve changed twice because of bulbs blowing. The first for which I paid £130,is again blowing bulbs every two weeks from the same lampholder. The lampholders are the fault, they don`t have the capacity to supply the bulbs with the right voltage and current. All these fittings are less than 12 months old.0 out of 5lester04/12/2010

philipsEco Classic 30 42W ES Pearl BulbHi there I have a complaint on the product. I have had 4 light bulbs in my place which have exploded over the last several months. I need a contact number so I can return the rest of my light bulbs and get my money back as I have purchased a few thinking they are good. I have totally lost confidence in your product. I will have to replace all my light bulbs due to this problem. We have a lot of lighting in our place so we changed but I feel this are not safe. 0 out of 5Unhappy customer23/08/2010
