This model was my second Sharp microwave. The first one was basic and therefore couldnt do much or go very wrong. Decided I wanted a stainless steel interior/combi function so went for this model. Bad idea from the start. The first one I had went kaput after a few months when I tried to make a baked potato in it. Started it off in the microwave and then switched to the oven. Sparking and fireworks followed so knew it was knackered. Arranged a replacement fairly easily but after about six months of average use the turntable went south. Eventually got it repaired under warranty (which was the usual argument between manufacturer and supplier over who picks up the bill). Now makes a horrible grinding noise. In terms of actual performance, the microwave is good (as you would expect), the grill is decent but the convection oven function is pitiful. It never achieves the temperature it claims on the display. All in all this will be the last Sharp microwave I will purchase.
