Spicy, expressive, and medium-bodied on the palate, it displays a racy personality marked by savory flavor, vibrant acidity, good depth, and enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years. Drink this tasty effort through 2017.The unreserved nose bursts with red raspberry, ripe cherry, lavender, plum, tobacco, slight orange peel and cola. The palate displays lush bing cherry, black raspberry, pomegranate, oak spice, vanilla and earth with lithe, supple tannins and exceptional balance. Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, most of them seasoned, this is one that every Pinot fan will go gag over, from a veteran Pinot Noir producer.
