WaringPB20CXIf you want the best blender on the market, then look no further and buy the Waring Pro blender. It has classic good looks and blends so smooth with no fuss. The product is guaranteed for life and if the makers are that confident in the product you know you are getting the best. The next best guarantee I could find to this was 5 years!! This blender is hand built in the USA and design has stood the test of time looks amazin on any kitchen counter!5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer21/01/2009 01:01:01

Morphy Richards48425Morphy Richards 48425 Heavy Duty Glass Blender WhiteGreat product with powerful motor (700w) which even grinds sesame seeds in small amounts - not sure about coffee beans as I dont use them. Other reviews cite problems with hot liquids where I would use a stick blender directly into the pot, saves washing up. The lid can be removed easily be removing the centre, insert fingers and pull off. Easy to clean using a bottle brush. So good I gave away my juicer. Try Apple quartered, Stick of Celery and chunks of 1 Carrot (ground seeds optional) and a little water. Delicious juice which includes the healthy pulp. 5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer11/12/2008 01:01:01

KitchenaidKSB5 EACI have had my kitchenaid blender since May 2006. All that time it has done a fantastic job, still looks great, still great motor. I bought it because I wanted a really good blender where a replacement glass jug was easily available (I didnt want a plastic jug). After 2 and a half years of daily use (honestly, it is used all the time)the rubber bits on the bottom did finally break. a quick look on ebay and a few quid to a company called picksoft resulted in a replacement plus a little gadget to make the replacement easier. I am not good at this sort of thing, but I fixed it in 5 minutes and now it works just as before. Absolutely excellent machine. If you dont like throwing things away, and you like quality, this is the blender for you.5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer14/11/2008 01:01:01

KitchenaidKSB5 BWHHaving never experienced a kitchen aid product before and seeing all the top chefs using them and my husband raving about how good they were I decided to give them a go. I was fed up with cheap plastic products breaking so was very pleased to see the body in heavy metal construction and the jar in heavy duty glass and not plastic. Having arthritis I didnt do alot of cooking as it was to painful for my hands, what a difference this has made to my life, my Husband cant keep me out of the kitchen and hes not complaining about all the lovely food iam cooking, this just makes everything a breeze. The only thing is but its not a problem I find if its quite full it sometimes leaks out of the top unless I hold onto the top while blending, but apart from that it blends in seconds beautifully. I was so impressed I bought the mixer as well.5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer13/08/2008 01:01:01

WahlZX410I bought this for my wife. she really likes it..now i am having cakes every other day ..the only negative point so far is the weight of this machine but otherwise very handy and easy to use.5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer20/05/2008 01:01:01

WahlZX413I bought this blender rather than the Breville mainly because of the ease of cleaning it. So I was not disappointed. It is easy to clean and, better still, it blends evrything I need in general family cooking to my full satisfaction. I would also suggest that James Martin would not put his name to a dodgy product, so I have to admit this was also one of my reasons for buying this machine.5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer14/03/2008 01:01:01

Russell Hobbs12620I just painstakingly typed a review and Amazon managed to lose it :-) but I will try again! Received this smoothie maker today and very impressed so far. Seems well made and has very clear plain English instructions with even a touch of humour! Other people have commented on size of machine and it is bigger than you might expect, but that is probably accounted for by need for robust motor unit and it does have large capacity jug. If you use small quantities (as in some of the recipes supplied) the stir stick is redundant as it does not reach the bottom of the jug but I shall just make larger quantities in future! Agree that you need to pulse the motor when using the tap (as they tell you to do)but that works very well. Will also use as a blender for soups etc as seems much better than the one supplied with my ancient Kenwood Chef. So far so brilliant - hope I will continue to have enough enthusiasm to clean it (which by the way is not particularly difficult, Im just lazy!) 5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer04/01/2008 01:01:01

PHILIPSHR1757 WHITEinteresting reading the other reviews about the small plastic prong on the bottom of the jar. I must say its the first time ive noticed it, and Ive had my blender for over 2 years. When I looked I can agree that the prong could break, but not if your using the jug properly and gently. It is obvious to me that you put the jug on the base and then twist it into position! The mill attachment is great for grinding nuts and seeds, and the fruit filter is great for making almond milk! I noticed one review said he had two burn out! I would say perhaps he didnt read the instructions. It does say clearly that it shouldnt be used for over 3 mins at a time, with a min gap inbetween. It is only a cheap blender after all. and dry products should only be processed for 1 min at a time. With this in mind I use mine every day at least twice. Ideally Id like a vitamix but they are £400 so for the price of this blender I am a VERY HAPPY customer.5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer09/12/2007 01:01:01

KENWOODJE550An excellently designed machine.

Despite other reports to the contrary it is fairly easy to clean you - just rinse it under a cold tap to start with. It is so well designed that everything neatly fits together for storage. The resultant juices are delicious!

KenwoodHB655I bought this product few months ago amd am not happy with the blender part.It just splashes the food all over the kitchen no matter how hard I try to reduce the splashing.I have decided that I would never buy a hand held blender in future. The chopper is good though. 3 out of 5Ujjwal03/09/2008 09:40:17

KitchenAid5KSB5i bought this in a fluke week, i think, when amazon were flogging it for £59, so i got a bit of a bargain. & so far it has proved itself in spades. the thing doesnt chop your ingredients, it pulverises them by brute force. the blades are robust. the glass is thick and hopefully pretty much unbreakable. the engine is powerful. and its fairly easy to clean, seeing that the bottom screws off and allows access to all the gunk stuck at the bottom. would i buy it again? definitely.5 out of 5Amazon Reviewer18/02/2008 01:01:01

KENWOODChefI own a Kenwood Chefette circa 1970s and still going strong. shame they don`t make them any more! I like the fact you can mix AND chop/blend with only one appliance. 5 out of 5Abentley28/06/2007 09:45:28

Rosemary ConleyJuicer & BlenderAs a juice novice I was looking for a juicer that was uncomplicated, easy to clean and compact enough to fit into a small kitchen. The Rosemary Conley Juicer has ticked all the boxes. My partner loves the blender for making soups and smoothies so it`s turned out to be a really good buy. The one thing I was disapointed with was the recipe ideas, especially for making juices. However I found the You are What You Eat book by Dr Gillian McKeath is full of great juice, smoothie and healthy eating recipes. 5 out of 5Margot22/10/2005 13:54:18

KENWOODChefI have just stripped our A 901 Chef down and found the brushes u/s and the armature beyond repair. After 32 years service I think it"s time we had a new one, Chef again of course.

KenwoodMX271i love my mixer, i got it as a birthday present. Its not what i expected for a 21st present but i love it, its easy to use, The only thing that i find wrong with it is its speed, if it was a wee bit faster it would be amazing. It takes a long time to whip up cream...well worth buying 4 out of 5Anon21/02/2006 12:37:42

Rosemary ConleyJuicer & BlenderI have juiced a range of fruit and vegetables including carrots and beetroot using this juicer and so far it has worked well. It also has the added benefit of having a blender attachment so that you can make smoothies and soups. I think this is a good buy for someone new to juicers and who wants to try one before buying a more expensive model 4 out of 5Anne11/09/2004 12:48:33

RUSSELL HOBBS3910This is a UK version of the Juicelady (J600)and Delonghi (Jollylife)equivalent - the main difference is that, sadly, this one is plastic and lacks a designated ice button. Nonetheless, the basic blender is otherwise the same and and its twins win international accolades from users.

The blender is reasonably robust and extremely versatile with a 550 watt motor and range of speed and pulse settings. The 3910 has a clever 3 minute timer for stop start blending at a pre-selected speed. Most settings are designated by LEDS, but, unfortunately at least two button presses are required for any action + power switch on.

The machine functions rather well and splatters reasonable quanities of ice easily and without leaks. A competitively priced product with reasonable bang per buck. Can make smoothies happily in small quantities, average noise level, drip hole for continuous feeding and multi-pulse speeds are available on this versatile machine. Solid blades and heavy glass jug which is easy to fit and remove make this a good buy at up to £59.

Generally recommended as a versatile and well built product which can do clever things.

KENWOODChefAlthough a good mixer I found mine too heavy and bulky. The bowl was too big for small quantities so it wasn`t mixing the margarine and sugar properly. It has been in my roofspace for about ten years. I much prefer the smaller Kenwood Chefette which I have used for about 23 years, although it can`t really cope with the like of a Christmas cake. 3 out of 5Rosie01/05/2007 08:32:30
