Ive had this blender for a few years now, and whilst it does its job well and the stainless stell shell give it a heavy feel. The actual working parts of the machine are made from plastic. Already all the clips have broken off that hold the attachments with the blades on. This is causing the gears to wear down as they slip as Im having to hold it on myself, or clip the handle into the bowl.

When it eventually dies I dont think Ill buy another one, and instead will look for one that will last longer.

Im a professional always short of time. This blender is an excellent piece of kit. Multi speed means you can chop at different sizes and make a paste if you wish to. Doesnt take much space on the shelf but big enough for once or twice a week of asian cooking. Has not bothered us at all with repairs till now.

Definitely recommended.

Since I have had my Braun MR6550 I have used it nearly every day, I would not be without it. I was very upset when I lost the chopping blade, but managed to find a company that do spare parts. I would recomend going for this over some of the cheap ones as the extra power really does make a difference and the chopping bowl of the processor is much bigger.
