I own a Kenwood Chefette circa 1970s and still going strong. shame they don`t make them any more! I like the fact you can mix AND chop/blend with only one appliance.

Although a good mixer I found mine too heavy and bulky. The bowl was too big for small quantities so it wasn`t mixing the margarine and sugar properly. It has been in my roofspace for about ten years. I much prefer the smaller Kenwood Chefette which I have used for about 23 years, although it can`t really cope with the like of a Christmas cake.

I have just stripped our A 901 Chef down and found the brushes u/s and the armature beyond repair. After 32 years service I think it`s time we had a new one, Chef again of course.

This product is a good heavy duty mixer, invaluable for feather lightsponges and fruit cakes. It is an asset to any kitchen.
