Revell Gift Set Titanic
On April 10, 1912, RMS Titanic with 2200 passengers on board left Southampton on its maiden voyage to New York. It had been built by Harland and Wolff in Belfast and offered its passengers every possible comfort. At the time it was the largest movable object in the world. This most luxurious liner, considered unsinkable at the time, measured 270m in length and 28m in width with a maximum speed of 24 knots. On the evening of April 14 the Titanic collided with an iceberg. Within 3 hours this giant liner sank, taking 1500 passengers down with it. The contents of this gift set are 2 plastic model kits of the R.M.S. Titanic, one in 1/570 scale and the other in 1/1200, as well as the essentials like paints, brush and glue. Warning: Suitable from 8 yrs. Not suitable for children under 8 years. For use under adult supervision.
