Revell Leonardo Da Vinci Aerial Screw
This model of an aerial screw is based on Leonardo da Vinci?s original drawings made between 1480 and 1490. The aerial screw represents the first idea of a propeller (the same principle is used by modern helicopters). By a rotary mechanism a screw with starched canvas and a radius of 4,80 m should be turned so fast that it would mount aloft. A fun way to introduce children to science and history. Warning: Not suitable for children under 10 years.
