A very imbrassive debut album from a power trio formed in California,
Green Day`s Smoothed was an outstanding indie album. With a collection of
Lp`s and a cover of The Who`s song My Generation added to the previouse
tracks compels the listener to listen on. A pop-punk band discovered off
Gilman streets teenage hole in the wall plays in melodic rythm with riffs
and change ups to complex for most punk rockers, Mike Dirnt and John
Kiftmier back up one of the greatest song writers of the 90`s, Billie Joe
Armstrong. The tracks in which stand out the most are: Green Day, Going to
Pasaluqa, Paper Lanterns, disapearring boy, I want to be Alone and Rest.
Go by the album our pay a dollar or to for the tracks I am impressed with.
Listen for yourself and be the Judge for yourself. There`s nothing better
than a person writting and singing in perfect key about emaotions and
experiences in Billie Joe`s short life up till then.
