AcousticSolutions Mini Silver KeyboardNot recommended. Bought this keyboard from Argos and had to return it the same day for a refund. Fingered chord function was faulty and the product was completely unusable. 1 out of 5Anon06/07/2008 08:27:14

casioLK-55It is a great piano. I got this keyboard for Christmas one year and I have played it a couple of times. The Casio LK-55 is great for begginers. It has a bunch of rythems and tones so you can be playing the guitar or the drums on the piano. 5 out of 5Chandler30/12/2008 10:57:45

casioWK-3000Absolutely brilliant.I was always a yamaha man,but I found them very expensive.I was put off by casios name but boy,was I wrong. The piano is one of the best I have heard.and im a pianist. The organ selection is superb, the saxes are very realistic and overall a top quality board. The price might make you think its not very good,Wrong have a play and you will amazed as I was 5 out of 5bernie brooks13/09/2007 10:31:25

YAMAHADGX500This keyboard is a beauty. In conjunction with a 4 track tape recorder I have used it to record some professional sounding demos of songs. Its voices of woodwind and brass instruments, some of which I have incorporated in my recordings, are very realistic

casioLK-55It is a fantastic keyboard, especially for people who are not good at the keyboard or who cannot play it at all. It has light up keys and a built-in song teacher. The microphone port allows you to sing along with the 50 built-in songs. If you use it as a midi controller, playing back a midi file through it makes the midi sound much better, as well as the keys lighting up as the midi file plays! 5 out of 5Kant Predict22/09/2006 11:42:58

YAMAHAPSR350This is a superb product from Yamaha, with good sound depth, & clarity. However the volume is a bit low, & u cannot create user styles or tones in this one. 5 out of 5Sounak Ray12/05/2004 08:55:09

casioWK-3000The wk3k of Casio is the most hi-tech "Portable Keyboard" that you can get your fingers on. In my opinion, that is, im only 15, and i am not an expert on portables, but the reviews and articles i read rate the wk3k in the good top 5. 5 out of 5Timmy MP12/05/2004 08:52:53

YAMAHADGX500Best of both worlds - full size piano plus keyboard facilities. Great appearance and sound quality - built-in songs will blow you away. I have owned two Yamaha keyboards and had decided to go back to a traditional piano - so glad I didn't.5 out of 5Sandra13/12/2003 12:52:45

casioCTK671I think this is a really good tool for beginner-like musicians who are looking for a decent sound and a wide area of effects and capabilities to play with. The price is nothing to worry about, there are weaker keyboards for a lot more money. The piano sounds and reverb effects are amazing.5 out of 5Phander21/07/2003 22:05:18

YAMAHAEZ30Had the keyboard for two weeks. I'm a drummer who is trying to be more melodic.

For a beginner, this thing is great. It teaches you piano through timing lessons and by making sure you hit the correct notes. You can choose lessons based on your left, right or both hands. The keyboard has lights above the keys to tell you which keys to put your fingers on and the small display tells you what fingers to use. The display is a bit small, but you get used to it. The keyboard grades your performance at the end of a lesson. Also, the EZ30 has a chord dictionary so you can practice all your chords and inversions. It comes with a wide range of musical styles with its 100 built-in tunes, but you can buy more online.

As someone who enjoys good audio, the sound is impressive for such an inexpensive machine..much better than the Casio at the same price point. It has a General MIDI implementation so you can sequence tracks and control software-based synths. It has over 600 sound voices (patches), but a number of voices in the same family sound very similar. It allows you to record and playback songs using multiple tracks, up to 16. On your own songs and the built-in songs, you can selectivity turn off any and all of the tracks during playback.

At this price point, the keyboard is essentially a big piece of plastic with 61 keys, so don't think you're buying a hard core gigging keyboard. So go gently unto that goodnight. If you are a beginner, just need some brushing up on your rudiments or need a cheap keyboard with sounds that can do double duty as a MIDI controller, you will enjoy this keyboard greatly.

YAMAHADGX500Good clean realistic sounds. Great value for my money, almost perfect but built-in FDD's MIDI capability limited to read/write Format 0 SMF. Yamaha should also upgrade internal memory to Flash/EEPROM type.5 out of 5mkhor05/12/2002 19:28:15

YAMAHAPSR295I would have given this product a 5 rating if it had come with a sustain pedal. I feel that when you`re buying something like this, which is a teaching module as well, it should ABSOLUTELY include this important fundamental item. A piano is only half alive without it.

YAMAHADD20I played this drum on a basis of 2-3 hours once a week, and after about 5-6 months, it quit working. The drum sticks broke because I like to bang really hard on the drums. They have good sound, but it"s annoying how you have to keep resetting your customizable programmed drum pads over and over and over again. All in all, it"s a good drum for the price, so I"d give it a 3 out of 5. 3 out of 5Good, but not great.19/12/2004 21:50:04

YAMAHADGX300Very nice sounding & easy to use board but poorly made. Plastic case is very flimsy & gold paint comes off very easy, and I take very good care of my equipt. I think Yamaha could have put a little more quality into this product. Very disappointing3 out of 5Johnny23/01/2003 19:39:07
