The V88s is a small profile multi-purpose microphone with a fixed cardioid pattern. Key features include a 1.25 large diaphragm gold-sputtered capsule and low noise FET preamp with balanced transformerless output. A new addition for the V88s is a 3-position pad (pre-attenuation) switch with settings of 0 dB -10 dB and -20 db.
