Razer debuts Mac gaming mouse

07 May 2008

Gamers who use Apple Mac computers could find they have access to greater speed and precision with a new ergonomically designed mouse from Razer.

Left-handed players might be disappointed to hear that the new Razer DeathAdder has been specifically designed for right-handed gamers.

But those suited to the device are promised a deluxe experience, with Teflon-coated feet helping the mouse to glide across the surface on which it is placed.

No fewer than five programmable buttons allow for custom commands to be added to the device - ideal for tricky in-game manoeuvres.

President of Razer Robert Krakoff comments: "The Razer DeathAdder is one of the greatest gaming mice we have developed and we are pleased to offer Mac gamers an alternative."

Razer recently reported that some of China's most high-profile gamers had been selected to bear the Olympic torch on its way to Beijing.

Two of those chosen compete on behalf of Team Razer, an umbrella group for the gaming organisations sponsored by Razer around the world.
