The Battery never charged. It didnt charge in the board nor out of it, with the board on or off and with the wii on or off. I even tried connecting it to my computer but it still didnt charge.
When using this pack, my battery shut off after 2 minutes if I had the cable in. Without the cable, my board never turned on, even after hours of charging.
I did however get my order in a week (and I dont live in the UK) and I got my money back immediately after I sent a mail

I thought id solved my Wii Fits battery needs with this product but the charge takes forever to finish and when it does it lasts about maybe an hour! Quite disappointed.

I was very disappointed with this product. I fully charged it the first time for over 12 hours as instructed, however, the batteries only last an hour or so maximum before it needs changing again. Its very frustrating when the balance board is not able to find you due to battery issues and you have to cut short your exercise. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 purely because it was so cheap! Trust me, go for normal rechargeable batteries instead.

Its really good as you can save on purchasing batteries and it drains alot out of it but so far I have only recharged it twice and I have used the wii board loads of times, overall satisfied so far

Can only echo comments from other purchasers - simply doesnt charge to capacity (even after 24hrs straight), lasts for (maybe) an hour. Invested in rechargeable batteries instead and use this just in case they run out. Was cheap so not worth the hassle of returning.

The thing charges and seems ok when put into the Wii Fit but when placed on a carpet it switches itself off. Given up with it and gone back to normal batteries.

Have had the battery pack for a while now & it works a treat. We tried the wii fit board with batteries & they were drained within the day (Five people using it)The battery pack seems to last at least two days with us all using it. The lead is 42ins long (Old School)can be used to charge & play at the same time, but you might find the board too close to the tv screen (We have a usb extension cable) We find you can charge the battery pack using a pc usb slot. Bottom line:- money well spent.

Its a battery pack, and it works, so little reviewing needed there.
But just something I found, if youre setting up the wii fit for the first time you cant use this product whilst syncing it to the wii, because you need to remove the lid to get to the button and the battery pack is connected to that lid! Thus theres no power when you try and sync it...so youll need 4 batteries to start off with, then the pack works fine...

I have charged this product for hours (even tried for over 24 hours) and it only lasts for 1 hour max and then it has to plugged back in again. So it is pointless. the cheap batteries before lasted 3 months. this product is a waste of money.

I was very disappointed with this. It just doesnt seem to charge up properly. I have left it charging for a good 24 hrs and still it has next to nothing in charge. The USB cable is far too short to actually have it plugged into the Wii and use the balance board at the same time, and this seems to be only way it will work for me. If your Wii is by your TV you can only stand about 1.5m from your telly to use the USB cable, so this defeats the point of being able to play and charge at the same time.
Mine is obviously faulty but as it was only cheap I cant be bothered sending it back. (also delivery seemed to take well over 3 weeks?).
Do yourself a favour and but some energizer rechargeable batteries like I have now done, and use a separate charger. They will last you longer, hold more charge, and you can use them for other things when you get fed up of the balance board.
As the saying goes You get what you pay for.

i received this very quickly,before my wii fit board arrived.however does not seem to charge via my wii console,have tried on my laptop,and the red light never seems to go out - is it suppossed to? so that i know when charged.When i try it in my fit board as it is lasts about 1 hour.therefore so far not impressed with this.will try leaving it charging for 24 hours to see if makes any difference as 12 hrs did not do anything.

Good useful item to ensure you can always use your balance board. The amount of time that Ive gone to use it and the batteries are flat with no spares..... This is perfect because it only fits the balance board - this should stop the wife using batteries for spare remotes!!
Would recommend to anyone with a balance board.

Despite other folks experiences, this pack seems to have a very low capacity. The charging cord is also very short, making using item whilst charging impossible. I fear the price is a clue to its quality. I always have a set of standard rechargeable standing by for anything other than a brief session. Am I alone in my disappointment or did i get the only defective one?
And there is no blue light to indicate when charging complete.

Ive had my wii balance board for a while now and not actually had to change the batteries yet but at such a good price I thought I would get this rechargable pack.
It looks well made with good enough plastic not to break when fitting it. Which was good as it did take a bit of a shove to get it in. The reason it that you are really trying to put 4 batteries in at once plus the cover.
The lead to connect it to the Wii (connects to one of the USB ports in the back of the wii) is nice and long (about a metre) which was plently long enough for me to feed it through the TV cabinet, where I keep my wii and down onto the floor where I keep the balance board. I actually charged it up with the board upside down but I think the connection is small enough to let you keep the board the right way up with the plug underneath.
There is a small red light that goes blue when it is charged and this didnt take very long at all. One thing, I did have to switch the wii on for it to charge.
I dont know about how long the charge holds yet as its still going strong after about 10 hours of use.
All in all, much better than having to buy batteries all the time so worth buying, especially at such a good price.

I bought this product so i would have it as soon as i got my wii fit and i could put it straight in.
unfortunately I dont have a wii fit yet so all i have done is charged it.
Delivery is fantastic, i got it 2 days before the first delivery date

I got this item for the wii fit .... It was delivered a day after I placed the order in time for the release date of the wii fit.
My Friend also has a Wii Fit and he has just gone through his 1st set of batterys, I have only charged this once so far and I have had a good 12 hours of use from it, it also fits the wii fit flush which is an added bonus. This really does save my pocket money and with the wii fit saves my stomach as well. Superb Product 5 Stars would recommend to any one with a Wii Fit
