This Wii remote is not that bad, yes it does feel a bit cheaper than the original one and the looks are a bit different. Put those to one side and you have a fairly decent remote. Connecting the remote to the console is easy but can be a bit fiddly. Please read the instructions but just in case you dont here it is:
1) Once the batteries have been placed in to the remote turn on the console.
2) When the console has booted up and you have the channel(s) display open up the front panel and press the red button.
3) Now press the A button on the new remote and now press the red button on the new remote underneath next to the battery compartment.
This may take a moment or two before the console will recognise it. The remote does come with batteries but I would buy some more just in case.

This controller feels cheap, the build quality is poor, and the connection to the Wii is very flaky.
Go for the real thing - Nintendo Wii Controller (Wii)

Not particularly cheaper than the genuine items, so very disappointed when they arrived. One wouldnt link to the console at all, the other drops the link regularly, and every time the console is switched off. Feel cheap and fragile, heavy use of batteries in one day. Avoid!!
