Bought along with the remote so 2 can play at the same time. Pity they do not bundle it with a remote at a reasonable price.

When you buy your Wii console it only comes with one of these so its not hard to work out if you play a game with 2 players that requires this add on you will need to buy another. I think they are well priced and they do actually what it says on the box.

there isnt really a lot you can say about these. If your game requires one, you need to get one, if you havent got one already.
I already had one, but lost it. So I bought this as a replacement. It is exactly the same as the previous one I had. Um, thats it really.
Wii conkers would be great though. You could even have a simulation of lobbing sticks up into a tree to get the conkers. If you got it wrong you could be chased by a grumpy old git who probably wasnt grumpy until kids started hoofing sticks into his back garden.

Its definitley worth getting this product if you have certain games. For example to play boxing on Wii Sports, you use this product as the left arm sensor to punch.
My console only came with one nunchuck, I would recommend getting another one if you are playing with 2 or more people together.

Item purchased along with aother Wii components.
Playing the games is not as easy as it looks, & youngsters especially seem to associate wild, strong arm movements with success, whereas small hand & wrist movements are actually far more likely to produce success. On Christmas Day a number of bruises were incurred, on arms, elbows & legs... I predicted that this game would increase the number of casulaties visiting A&E departments across the country & a news report later confirmed this as fact!
Id recommend playing the games in a large room where the players can be far enough apart not to hit each other (or any spectators). And remember to use the wrist strap!!

I bought this (extra) nunchuck before we started using the Wii as I assumed we would use them as much as the controllers, but I think weve only used it for the boxing game which is probably the worst game in Wii Sports. Dont bother in my opinion.

Although there are games where you dont require the Nunchuck it is always handy to have one or your gameplay will be limited. Easy to add on to your controller and allows you to play a whole range of games.

A nunckuk is a simple atachment to the Wii remote that gives you extra control over a game.So far 4 out of 6 of my games need it.If it has a nunchuk icon in the top-right corner of the box it needs it for all or part of the game. You get one free with the console, but you can get another for multiplayer. Here are some notes: 1.The control stick has a special feature:you can move it a little bit and it does the action a little bit, like a steering wheel! 2.The upper button is called `c` and the lower button is called `z` so if you see c and z mentioned in reviews youll know what theyre talking about. Dont get them the wrong way round! 3.It fits in your hand perfectly-no need to worry about it being uncomfortable. 4.Dont put the control stick in your mouth (if you do it goes all yellow). 5.The cord length is fine(almost the armspan of a quite tall 9-year-old).
So overall the nunchuk wins 5 stars for its special control stick feature; fitting into your hand nicely; and its cord length, and only has 1 bad point which is being just plain white and even this is hardly a `bad` point because you never look at the nunchuk when youre playing and even this can be fixed by buying a skincase for it.

The nun-chuck does the job you want it for: controlling Wii games that need it like Wii Sports Boxing, FPS games like Metroid, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor etc, and a few others. You know this because you got one bundled with your Wii and you only want to buy another one so you can play these games against a friend. So go ahead and buy one.
But never being one to miss the opportunity to have a moan I thought Id climb on my soap box and point out its faults. Go on, read my rant before you click the unhelpful button.
The nun-chuck is over priced at £15. Infact Wii owners shouldnt have to pay for it at all. The Wii Remote is half a controller without this. Its a rip that you have to pay out £45 for 2 bits of kit just to get an extra player. This gives Wii the most expensive console controllers ever, which is just silly. Price aside, the nun-chuck aint that great. It feels to light for one thing, and whats with the wire and the lack of rumbles? A wireless rumbling Wii nun-chuck might be worth £15, but not this bland piece of plastic.
The nun-chuck is a reliable controller but it could be a lot better, and cheaper. Do buy one, but dont forget to do so begrudgingly ;-)
Oh and parents, make sure your kid actually wants to play games that require an extra nun-chuck before you buy. If all they want is multi player Tennis this wont be necessary.
