Bought for my 6 year old son. He does enjoy it. I cannot always read the instructions and the software does not read it for you. The programme is fairly directed and not quite as creative as I had hoped. Fun though and totally halmless.

Im so glad that I bought this game. It has absoloutely everything! From collecting essences to fishing, you can complete challenges and build really cool houses!
First of all, it has challenge. More than animal crossing. I mean, they are both alike but in animal crossing, you cant complete any levels - because there are no levels. You cant even build houses. MY sims kingdom has challenges, which go towards earning king points which go towards completing the island and unlocking another land.
Secondly, it has amazing graphics. It is colourful, the characters are kind of cute and it is so clear! Even things that wouldnt be detailed are!
It has simple gameplay. The challenges can be complicated, but there is always one objective for each island, built up by like I said, challengesl. This may not seem at first, but once you have explored these amazing islands, you can perfectly see it.
And finally, it is fun. You can see all around these island, with each one having different characters. Buddy and Lyndsay ( Your best friends) Are really funny as they accompony you on your adventures. I reccomend it t children under 14.

You play a magician - the training part of the game takes a while, but shows you how to use all the tools you will need on a fun gentle way. Aimed at kids, but fun for adults who dont want too much sudden moving or races against time. I havent done many of the puzzles yet, but definately enjoying the game so far.

If you have any other My Sims games, youll find this game quite similar. Its ok for younger children. Older Children will find this game boring after about 20 minutes. Its very repetitive and does not offer much challange.

Im about half way through this game now and cant stop playing it! Even though I dont find this game challenging, Ive not been bored of it once (Im 19). The controls are simple, and the characters are all very different and lovable (my favourite has to be Buddy!). You can customise your own character, and as the game progresses, you unlock new outfits etc. You are even able to choose your own voice! With regards to the speech in the game, as was said before, it is standard for all Sims games. I dont feel that it is at all irritating.

If you want a good, simple yet addictive game then this is for you. As I mentioned, Im 19 and love this game though it is aimed at a much younger audience! Great fun and a nice way to relax and keep you occupied. Would definitely recommend.

I dont usually write reviews but I felt I had to respond to the people who made comments about the language on the game.

My Sims is related to The Sims games you can get for PC and Mac. Its like The Sims little brother or sister, cute and fun. The language is a generic language that isnt speaking but more sounds, it means it can appeal to all countries without having to have lots of different languages. Personally I dont see the problem with it. Surely its better to read the writing, its more stimulating for children rather then having to rely on spoken word.

For anyone doubting the game because of this....dont!!! Ive played the first ever Sims games, The Sims 2 on Mac and My Sims on the DS. This Wii game is great, its enjoyable with lots of great little tasks to do with exceptionally cute graphics and lots of things to find.

What I liked was the ease of use within the game, some puzzles are a challenge but you quickly get the hang of things. Im 28 so some of the puzzles are going to be more difficult for younger kids, but that will just add to the game play and help them with thinking about problem solving. I liked the fact that all your tasks are in your menu, so if you save and quit when you start up again you can be reminded of what task you need to do. There is also a list of the scrolls you need to complete and the elements needed to complete them. The maps are helpful for seeing where certain characters are on the islands. I did get stuck on a couple of occasions and looked online for help.

I think this is a really quirky little game, and enjoyable for many ages. Great for kids and an easy and enjoyable game for adults who like non-pressure games that are easy on the eye.

I thought this was a very dull game, I was bored very quickly, dont buy it, i kept plaing it in hope that it would eventually get better but it didnt. Only buy this gaame it you like slow moving games with not much action behind them.

Sims Kingdom (wii)
After my son aged 9 wanted this game i shopped around but not once did i get informed about the stupid gibberish supposed language that was on the game. we checked the console settings and game settings thinking we had set one up incorrect, but all correct. It took some time and the Internet to find this information. In all we are not impressed and more important neither is my son.Had this information been available i doubt very much that we would have purchased the game. BE AWARE!
