ive played ghwt for a while now, i enjoyed the game and i was able to do most songs in expert after a while. i like the song list in wt, theres a good variety and a good mix. you get bands like soad and muse. theres also lots of songs you can buy.

the ONE problem i had with gh is the actual guitar. it was fine for the first few months after purchase. but the strummer broke. so i claimed a new guitar on the warranty. this guitar was fine for about a month. until the wammy bar broke. and a couple of weeks after the strummer broke. so instead of claiming a new guitar. i payed for the les pauls wireless guitar. which is much better. its much shorter. it doesnt have that annoyin sliderbar. the wammy bar and strummer are shorter. the only problem is the red fret is a bit stiff. so i were you i would buy the game software individuly. and buy the les pauls wireless guitar.

Enjoyable good fun as lots of people can play different instruments in the band.

Only downside is for four people to play you need four Wii Remote Controllers and another Guitar!

I bought guitar hero world tour a couple of weeks ago for my self, because my sisters had the band package, I had ago on theirs, I was addicted straight away, so i went out and bought one, the same day.
I play on it every chance i get, I love how it has a beginner section and a practice area of the game, some times i get bood off on some of the songs. These are the ones i dont recognise or not heard for a long time.
Now my 9 yr old son wants one for his 10th birthday, now I am going to buy his own guitar hero, so we can play together, I like to play bass as it seems eaiser than lead.
This is a must buy game for all ages.

I have had so much fun playing this game. It is definitely one of the best games on the wii. And if your begining to find lead guitarist to hard you can always just switch over to bass guitar. The campaign mode is great and the afct yu can play online in groups just adds to the fun!

As this was a Christmas present for my son I wasnt really sure what to expect but I must say the whole family have made great use of this game since it was opened. We now have a whole house full of would be rock stars and I have renewed admiration for the guitar hero gang who were on stage at the Isle of Wight Festival last summer!!

I bought this for my son (age 15) for Christmas. At first he ignored it then he decided to show off to a female friend of mine. He has played it everu day since and loves it more than his air guitar routine!

An excellent game keeping everyone amused for ages. Only regret is not buying the whole group version so that everyone could be involved at the same time.

Bought this bundle a few weeks ago and since then ive been playing it almost on daily basis, if my little daughter lets me :)

The Track list is alright with different kinds of songs from diferent eras.

The guitar is good, it has excellent quality/finishing and its not heavy.

My greatest complain is about the download content which I think it is too expensive ( 2 Euro a song ). Also, the download content is not good enough compared to the ps3/xbox360 versions.

Recommended Buy!

I bought the Wii Guitar Hero III(GH3) and Guitar Hero World Tour (GHWT) as Christmas presents for both of my sons. They both have the Guitar Hero III guitars so lucky no arguments there.

On playing both games, Guitar Hero World Tour is so much more easier on the easy level compared Guitar Hero III. The Coop mode is really good GH3 and difficult on Bass as well as Guitar. We did complete on easy level eventually.
The worrying thing with GHWT so far since my boys have been playing on easy level is that they havent actually failed any gigs since theyve been playing in band mode, where as GH3 is more challenging.
GHWT overall looks to be a much bigger game but there are some songs which do seem to be a bit too long.
What i do like is that you can play at different levels in band mode as my youngest son of 5 has had a go with his brothers and played at beginner level(which you only have to hit the stum button). To be able to create your own character has kept my eldest son amused for hours alone. From designing your dressware to creating your guitar exactly for you.

None of us had played Guitar heros before this but its a massive hit in our house from 40 year old down to a 5 year old! I think what I really like about these games, no violence just music..... It is also building their aprreciation for music from 60s, 70s, 80s,etc.
The only thing now is that they want the drums and microphone and my singing is awful!

Weve not used the wireless internet version yet and I understand that you can download new songs as well as compete. I am hoping that you can pick any artists and download loads of songs... More Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones but you know what would be brillant..
Kings of Leon - Crawl or Sex on Fire.
Hope youre listening out there, this could actually double record sales on some songs with you being able to download the latest song in Guitar Hero.

Anyway overall review buy it for the family as theres something for
everyone, well except the wife that is (unless shes a rock chic!).

Guitar Hero World Tour overall is better than Guitat Hero 3 but if you get the chance to get GH3 cheap buy it just to play:-
Barrucuda - Heart (never ever heard it before but great track)
Rolling Stones - Paint it Black (absolutely awesome and thats what my son said!!!)
Killers - When you were young.
