| Mamas & Papas | Murano Nursery Suite | I bought this Murano range of furniture for my son because we could not afford an expensive set for his nursery. This set came complete with a foam mattress but I was advised in the shop where I purchased it that I would need to purchase a better one when the baby started to get heavy as it was a very basic mattress, but would suit during the early months. It was simple enough to put together according to my husband but involved a little more work than usual with self assembly. All I can say is that it looks absolutely lovely in the room and for the money it is well worth it. After all, you get what you pay for in this world and be honest with yourself, if you want a pucker product buy the Richmond, which is solid pine, but BE PREPARED TO SPEND AROUND £1250 PLUS THE PRICE OF A MATTRESS. |  | Michelle | 25/04/2007 12:04:18 | |  |
| | Mamas & Papas | Murano Nursery Suite | I bougth the Murano Nursery Suite Furniture for my daughter. I´m rather content við it but I don´t like the matress that came with it. It´s so firm that I imagine it will have to be replaced with a new one long before the age of 7. No information on that was included in the package. | | Mamas & Papas | Murano Nursery Suite | We bought two of the Murano cotbeds and I have to say, even though they look lovely in their photos, that they are the most poorly executed flat pack constructions that I have ever had the misfortune of purchasing. Not helped by the fact that the printed instructions were actually incorrect. My wife and I had to dismantle the side panels twice as the diagrams showed the holes in the side rails on the outside in step 7 and then by the time we got to step 10 we discovered that the holes had suddenly changed to the insides. I have put many flat pack items together before and am a competent DIY person, but this product was a total nightmare and I would urge anyone considering this product to think again. Unless of course you are a total masochist and like wasting your time. The dresser was slightly less confusing to construct, however it is not the most sturdy item once put together.
