| Unbranded | Mobile Phone Sim - Vodafone SIM card | Only two months ago I but a Vodafone Simcard (Hutch old name)from New Delhi. The Dealer told me that the Validity of the SIM CARD is TWO years (2-yrs)and the cost is Rs.600.00 without any call voucher, and also ensures all india roaming too. Looking at the validity and the roaming facility, I gladly paid Rs.600 and bought one and recharged additional Rs. 600+90. Unfortunately when I reached Lucknow, I could not use the sim. Every time I try to make a call it gives a horrific comment. It asks me to contact vodafone office or the reliance operator. Without losing time, though precious, I tried to contact the dealer many times and there is no response at all. I even contacted vodafone center at Patna and they dont entertain us. They said there is no technician. Its services are horrific that every time they send us sms which is quite disturbing. The service of non function once I reach the town/city area. I strongly recommend NOT to buy the VODAFONE SIM CARD if you are intending to travel and make calls. Because 1. the Dealers are non responsive 2. There are no services outside of the Purchase area. 3. The roaming facilities even if it is there are disruptive 4. Even the local people cant help it as its popularity is poor 5. Its more costlier than any simcard 6. You receive many disturbing messages I suggest you all to keep in mind and act accordingly. Recaently I also bought an Airtel simcard and it works miracle. Make cheap calls from any place you want. Roaming is automatic. As and when you change place/travel from place to place it adjusts accordingly and informs us the change through SMS. It works everywhere…
