The game was terrible. I really wanted to have a go at an SAS game - all the others seem to be American. But when I started playing it I thought Id gone back 5 years - nothing was up to the standards you expect today.

The gameplay was nice, a good choice of weapons but the best has to be the stunning graphics. For a PS2 game, the look of it was lovely. Cant wait for SAS:2 to come out!!!

The game is full of glitches, bad design decisions and outright showstopper bugs. For example if you change your preferences and try to exit from the Settings screen, the game freezes 75% of the time.
After that it is no surprise that the actual gameplay is totally devoid of any fun. The level design is laughable - for example if you happen to enter the training mission doors in a different order than the `designer` (I am using the term loosely here) intended, the mission becomes unfinishable.
Admittedly this game is cheap, but each pence paid for it is wasted.
